Just found out about Sabbath's new album through Spotify, cannot stop listening to it. Usually old bands that try to come back suck major dick (coughMetallicacough), but god damnit Ozzy, I will always love you. To bad Dio is gone.

Sounds like they are improving on "We are the Void" (not that it's hard, WATV was utter shit).
Then again, the test will be consistency over the whole record: "Character" & "Fiction" both had a 2-3 good/great tracks, the problem was the filler surrounding them.

Editors' new album, The Weight of your Love is coming out today. Excellent band, definitely give them a try.

They've also got an incredible live performance, keep an eye on them in festivals.

I've listened to this album a dozen times or so; wasn't really hitting home on some tracks at first, while others definitely were - such as:

DT's always been that band I forget for a while then randomly remember a riff, drum line or piece of lyrics and start re-listening to a whole record, finding hidden gems like Ego Drama, Not Built to Last or On your Time. The last 3 albums didn't have that effect at all but Endtime Hearts definetely has the potential to be that song in the new release.

I don't think the days of Hedon, Insanity's Crescendo or The Gallery are ever coming back, but Construct is definetely a solid record.
Except for Apathetic. Weak track is weak.

Rise Against have released the track listing for Long Forgotten Songs: B-Sides & Covers (2000-2013) which is due on September 10, 2013 via Interscope. As the band noted in the original announcement, "most of these songs saw the light of day at some point"
