I wanted the fight against Livia to be even more violent, honestly. She was such a bitch. No one beats up Minfilia and gets away with it!
Livia as a whole was disappointing. I expected her to live through the MSQ like Nero. I mean:
AND THEN SHE BONES HIM. WHAT. SHE'S BANGING HER ADOPTIVE DAD? there could've been loads of story about that. Raised by Gaius van Baelsar after being orphaned by war, Livia devoted herself to the arts of soldiery, that she might repay her adoptive father
Things maybe people have figured out or haven't possible spoilers:

Super hot daddy issues. Raises a cold bitch to everyone but him in the bedroom, melting her frigid heart. Oh, the fanfics.
"No...I like it with the helmet on."
Does anyone have info about the cs that plays after T5? The whole deal with Dalamund is one of the few genuinely interesting things in this shit story and I'd like to know what's up within the final area of T5.Spoiler: show
So I found a video of post Turn 5 (since I haven't slain the dragon myself, I am ashamed to admit).
Obvious spoilers
I do believe this is Nep's video who posts on these very forums (I remember fighting the great Yellow Pelican of Beta 3 with the brave warrior).
Anyways, solracht already spoiled the text for us via xivdb but here's the important part:
Spoiler: show
Why would he try to reseal it then?
Reseal what? As far as I can tell, there's no indication as to what they're trying to accomplish down there.
Ridiculous Roclwena speculation wasn't entirely serious. If you give it more than a minute of thought then it all falls apart.
Since this is discussing content that's supposed to be viewed only by the great 100
Spoiler: show
Edit: nvm
What fragments are they referring to?Two more like fragments of Dalamud pierced the earth when the lesser moon fell. One we have seen. If we can but find the other two, I am certain that we will find Grandfather as well.
I think they're talking about the giant key/sword-like things. The most obvious of which is the one that thrusts into the ground in the middle of the Mor Dhona battlefield during the end-of-an-era CS.
I'm not terribly far into coil, but it certainly looks like you're traveling down one of those in the opening CS to turn-2.
Right but what are they in game terms? Is it just an artifact of Dalamud (like it serves no purpose other than lore?). I'll admit I haven't watched any of the Coil cutscenes, I always skip for clear. One of these days I will. I love lore for the relationship it has to what we do in game. I was just wondering if these fragments do anything I guess, in game terms.
Why can't you view any of the BC cutscenes aside from the turn 1 intro?
I believe they hinted back in 1.0 that the Crystal Tower was already underground Mor Dhona, and was brought up (how? who knows.) after the Mor Dhona battle. I don't think it's directly related to Dalamud.
As for the specific purpose of the Dalamud keys... I don't think we've ever been given that information besides it being the Allagan machinery funneling aether to Bahamut, as he said. I don't think the intention was to be cryptic, we just really don't have a whole lot of info on it.
I assumed they would become available once you beat turn-5, but either way that's really lame.
