I thought he meant it's hard to bitch about Israel's collateral damage when they are trying and the other side isn't.

I think that's his point. People say all the casualties caused by both sides are collateral damage, but then you look at those... rockets.... and one side is just spraying and praying.

Edit: Also, rockets is definitely the right term. Those things look like they could have been on the field at Waterloo; they're that primitive. Only thing they lack is a great big stick tail to help aim them, but obviously aiming isn't a big concern for those guys.

I had the impression of like a Javelin or something.

Edit2: On the bright side, they're 5 times as accurate as they would be if they were any other religion.

Precision strikes that have massive amounts of collateral damage and constantly hit nonmilitary targets to the point that very few believe they're actually targeting any military Sounds like an Oxymoron to me.

Just to play the devil's advocate, isn't most of the Palestinian 'military installations' Israel is targeting purposely built around 'non-military' targets anyway? If this is the case, I kinda think the other party is blame. Putting up civilians you're supposed to protecting as shields is not the way to go about running a military organization, me thinks.

Not to say everyone else doesn't do this, of course. One way or another anyway.

Their "military" installations are around houses because there's not 20 square feet of area in that region that doesn't have a shack built on it. lol

anyway, I wish people called them missiles instead of rockets. Rockets sounds like some Estes type thing, or the shoulder-launched RPGs. It doesn't sound as severe as it really is.
I believe the difference is that a missile is in some way guided.

    http://muftah.org/the-neighbor-proce...human-shields/

The main evidence of there ever being any attempt by Hamas to use human shields has been Israel claiming they do(and as such are at fault for collateral damage) while Israel is simultaneously defending their right to force Palestinians to be human shields for Israeli soldiers. The evidence showing Israel doing so also exists outside of one side saying so with former soldiers confirming it's existence and an actual paper trail with documentation of their human shield procedures.

At any rate this is moot as the implication there was that Israel was "missing" on purpose although honestly they've never cared if they missed and hit civilians before. If it's anything like last two times during the aftermath we're going to notice a ton of the attacks coincidentally hit things like farms, media centers, or anywhere else important to the infrastructure there if they wanted to have an actual economy with no actual ties to Hamas in several of the sites. It's similar to how every male above the age of 12 is automatically classified as a Hamas Soldier in order to inflate their success rate and pretend they hit only terrorists.

Wiki disagrees. "In a modern military, a missile is a self-propelled guided weapon system."

Maybe he's getting into semantics where any object tossed in the air is a missile. No wonder Palestinians can make so many missiles. all they have to do is toss a rock.

Or maybe I'm going by the textbook definition and not by shittywiki:

    mis·sile/ˈmisəl/
    Noun:
    1) An object that is forcibly propelled at a target, by hand or mechanically.
    2) A self-propelled or remote-controlled weapon that carries a conventional or nuclear explosive.

Second definition applies in this case. That doesn't mean it always applies.

military, generally, difference between a rocket and a missile is that a missile is guided and a rocket isn't.

uh, nobody's doubting that they're killing actual military

like, yesterday they tried to get just 1 certain military guy, and they killed a family of 11 living right next to him

news organizations are all about covering the fact that they killed 4 women and 4 children in that strike

none are denying that they got the guy they were after, though

also you can watch the media installment video I posted and see multiple angles, including cameras on the missiles as they go in, and then see the aftermath, of like 4 foot wide holes under where the antennas and shit were, I assure you they're pretty incredibly specific with where they hit...

but those same strikes would have at least injured the people in the office on that top floor, which happened to be RT's offices...

but they, purely by chance, happened to have left the building to look for generator fuel about an hour before it happened

Actually the BBC story they showed about this about an hour ago (here in fiji) stated that no Hamas member was believed to be among the dead.

I have no idea if that's true, but ...well, that's one news outlet claiming that they didn't get the guy they're after.
