{FFXI Windower Question} IME

I am currently using the most up to date version of windower and have all of my IME plugins loaded correctly. My question is whenever i login to to FFXI with windower and try to use IME the IME program stays on half-width alphanumeric. i cannot click it to change it it is locked. my chat changes to green when i type in ffxi so i know the plugin is loaded correctly. i can have the ime set to jp but it wont let me change anything and it is driving me nuts if there is any suggestions on how to fix this i would be grateful.

Make sure you have your system locale set to japanese. If it is, you may want to try using the language toolbar to change inputs, instead of the keyboard shortcuts.

I have visited the windower site but keep having issues with signing up and the mod has not replied yet so i can get my username fixed. as for setting locale i have tried that and if i try to change the inputs on the tool bar its self it wont actually let me change from alphanumeric i click it and it does nothing. i have tried using it in other programs and it works fine. Kinda making it difficult to play now since most of my playtime revolves around grouping with mostly jp players XD
