I'd rather Jerry just hire a coach and leave him the fuck alone - give the man a few years to implement his system and ideas. Changing your coach out every 2-4 years has proven to not be successful in the NFL. Garrett has made some good moves (Getting rid of Davis/Gurode/Barber/Stonehands Williams/Columbo) and the last 3 drafts have turned out pretty well also. He's still a huge noob when it comes to end game decisions and the O-line is a penalty machine but you can't fix it all in 2 offseasons.

Firing him (and pretty much the entire coaching staff) just wipes out whatever small amount of change he has implemented and starts the whole process over.

The ONLY coach I'd fire Garrett for that is potentially available is Sean Payton. Everyone else is a sidegrade or just got fired from massive failures themselves.

Not only that. Jared Allen who ended someone's season with a blatant cheap shot only got fined 21k
