BG makes an effort not to be a source of NDA-violating information... so no one's going to find Square-Enix leaks here, especially not by making public posts asking for it. Also, you should watch it Lordender, you're baiting this kind of shit by teasing that you have more information than you're allowed to say.

Sticking to the NDA was one of, if not the main reason FFXIV 1.0 was so disappointing for most of us.
If anything is clearly wrong with the game and SE refuses to fix it then testers should have no qualms in leaking the issue.
Our money, time and hopes vs SE's obsession for secrecy. It's pretty clear to me what matters more.

Personally my account matters more. Something tells me that bitching about the alpha on the tester forums will probably get my opinion heard better than if I bitched on BG. Also I'm pretty sure the main reason 1.0 was disappointing for most of us is because it sucked, not because we didn't talk about how much it sucked on a forum. Because we did that. For months.

People are still bitching about auto-attack for Christ's sake. It is my sincere hope for the future and longevity of FFXIV:ARR that Yoshida and his team seek input elsewhere, which is why I'm very pleased that Alpha invites went out to a lot of people that had previously quit. Honestly, they can bitch about auto attack and the new gathering/crafting system all day long, in the end they will play whatever FFXIV becomes because it is Final Fantasy and they weren't going anywhere anyway. That said, I think Yoshida has proven himself thus far in his ability to sift through valid input and the opinions of mouth breathing Official Forum whores.

I never had a problem with V1 gathering. No matter what they do you can't make chopping trees fun. The long runs between the gathering nodes were my only complaint. It was especially bad in Thanalan. But if the new system is better I won't miss it.

Still, as ARR shows it can be improved to be not as horrible.
