Same, out in the cold, missing that sweet swweeet FF fix
Probably for the best as league of legends just got a bunch of changes done so I'mma be re-learning that game for a bit.
What started out as a pretty shit morning just got a little more disappointing.
I dunno if it's my answers or my comp specs that put devs off but as far as I can remember I've never been selected for any alpha/beta. I normally only get to experience the stuff through OB or pre-order head starts.
Unless you have a machine that can't even run the game at all, then that stuff doesn't matter as much as people make it seem so. Or rather, they're choosing on the basis of their own need and changing one or two things in your machine, or even buying a whole new rig doesn't actually have to improve your chances. So yeah, I'd say shitty luck ;<
I'm still digging this whole tab out of full screen thing.
It's funny how going without what is essentially a requirement in today's PC gaming world can bring you to adore the simplest of features.
Like Ice Cube said "Today was a good day." Invite on my 2nd account.
I gotta say, the OF isn't as bad as I thought it would be. The retardo people generally get ignored anyways.
Wow, I got an email. I didn't expect that. For that question of "What is your video card?", my answer was literally the last, and shittiest, option that wasn't "none of the above".
On Twitter just now.
"Another wave of Alpha Tester invites went out early this morning. Check your email! If not yet chosen, another selection takes place 12/6!"

Quicker than expected.
Indeed, I wasn't expecting anything until 12/7. I wonder if it will become a daily (minus weekend) thing.
You can try and see most stuff in couple of days so I imagine number of logins are going down quick
I guess most alpha testing they wanted to do has been completed and they're just letting more people see the game at this point. Their original plan was to shut it down mid December.
The alpha test is focused on server stability during new player influx (low level zones crammed with Lv.1~5 people doing quests/leves/grinding/etc and lots of people crowded around NPCs/aetherytes). They need to keep inviting new testers to make sure they have the congestion they want in these areas.
Maybe on round 3275 I'll get in.
