It is! I jumped all over the place. I even jumped in front of people trying to battle "stuff" for no reason at all. Simply awesome.

I hope this isn't sarcasm because I've been doing the SAME thing. I was jumping all over this guy battling that ent mob (it's not called a keeper or guardian... whatever I can't remember the name of it). He laughed at me and just fought but I felt it added to his fight.

Jumping is the best thing to me in the alpha so far. No longer will I be hindered by the fences or weird bumps or tiny ledges! Hell, for some reason I even try to jump over the gates that open.

I scaled up some rocks the other day. I'm still grinning about it for some reason.

I love jumping too but there is something about the jump animation that I hate. I think we land (fall) too quickly. It's like you're up and then you just drop straight down like a rock. (Jumping shouldn't be part of the NDA as Yoshi has already shared the animation to the public.)

Alpha is mostly to test out the hardware right? Like lag performance and shit right? So why the fuck are people on the OF behaving like it's beta and calling for changes in combat and shit that's not hardware/environment bug related? Makes me wish I could reach through the internet and choke some people. I mean, if it's really really game breaking like bad pathing or something I can see complaints about it, but calls for changes because "it's too generic" deserved to be booted for not paying attention to more important shit. I really feel for the devs... on one hand, you NEED these people to make sure that the game is working properly in an environment as dynamic as possible; on the other hand, these fucking mouth-breathers obviously don't understand the phrase "staying on the objectives."
