sexual orientations are covered under genders.
gender = socio-sexual identity.

what you're thinking of is biological sex.
thats the one where there are only 3 options.

sex and gender do not mean the same thing and should not be used interchangibly

Are you saying there's something wrong with my gear?

Spoiler: show

Anyone know what the AOF look like in comparison to regular OF? In terms of content.

**Madeline** · 2012-11-26 22:28

I promise I won't say fuckstick in front of the children.

**Kurokikaze** · 2012-11-26 23:00

Anyone know when the start time is for the next test phase? All I'm seeing is Nov 28th.

I hear they haven't finalized the schedule yet

Is there any way that you confirm that you actually sighned up for the Alpha? It's been a really long time and I can't say for sure that I actually did it. When hitting the apply button I just get a message of "The region is different". Whatever that means.

It means that SE posted the wrong link. They used the link for EU. Here's the link for the NA peeps: http://entry.ffxiv.com/alpha/index_na.html

Yay. Got email. Oddly just after I started playing PSO2.

I fall in the "quit before the end" group. Stopped playing soon after Jobs were out. Looking forward to... actually I don't want to look forward to anything. Just let it happen and see if it's worth something :/

Looks like they may be inviting more alpha testers on Monday and then more every two days depending on logins.
http://forum.square-enix.com/ffxiv/t...688#post906688

Reinheart has translated a lot of Yoshi-P stuff but the relevant bits are quoted below.

For future plans on increasing, up till 12/2 it will be phase 3's stability test and from 12/3 we will increase more testers. Also to address the load issue from adding additional testers we haven't had this in our official plan but fom 12/3 we would like to open a 3rd world for the alpha test.

Post 12/3 once every two days we will look at the rate of login and will add more testers from there.
We will add few thousand per week but how much we can add will depend on the situation of the server load so please understand that.
