So I replaced my ps3 HDD with a new 1TB one. Everything was fine until I put in the new HD. I followed the steps and made a thumbdrive with the folder PS3 and UPDATE in it with the latest update (4.31) and tried installing it. When I do so I get the error "Data is corrupted. (8002F2C5)

I tried using the options through safe mode, they didn't work either. Tried different USBs, no go with them either. Data keeps coming up corrupt.

Anyone got any ideas on anything else I can try? Giving up for the night.

Also its a PS3 slim. Was originally 120GB.

Edit: Nevermind, can close this. After trying for the 15th time randomly one of my usb sticks decided to update it properly.
