New pc has windows 8, hnnnnnnnnngh

As the title says, this new pc is awesome but has windows 8. How do I revert this bitch to windows 7?

Have a windows 7 install CD handy
Format C:\ from a command prompt (no idea if windows 8 has this, you can usually mash escape, del, F8 or Fsomething and it'll come up with a list of boot options)


if windows 8 doesn't have one, or doesn't allow you to do that, make a bootable usb stick
