Maybe I'm a bit naive on this, but with the level of gerrymandering in some states it will be tough for democrats to get the house. For example in Michigan, 54% of the votes went for democratic congressmen (same as for Barack), but only 5 of 14 congress seats went to democrats. Republicans have been unpopular for 15 months now and they still have a 30 seat majority in the house.
Best thing Dems can hope for is in a year obamacare goes full effect, and people decide they love it and recall all the death panel etc. talk.
