And like everything else, it comes down to this:

If you aren't designing policies to make the blue line go up, fuck you.

Seems like everyone just ignores that graph every time it's posted and, in turn, claims it's justifiable because those people earning 300% of the median salary somehow work teeth and bones harder than the people that actually keep the company going.
It really is because the corporate mentality has turned from "our workers make our company work" into "our company allows our workers to work".
You are being unreasonable, kuro. Those 1% do work 200% more than the average 8 hour shift employee! 8*3=24 hours working per day, see, it works out! They never sleep, eat, fuck, shit or even get to benefit from their mansions, yachts, jets and sports cars.
Problem is, a lot of people in the bottom 99% buy into that rhetoric. The gap isn't going to be reduced as long as people get anally fisted without lube and ask for more.
Because without proper education, context and a boatload of distractions you don't know you're being fucked over or resign yourself to being fucked over.
Start asking people to critically think and you see exactly where the problem resides. We're great at soundbytes but when it comes to breaking shit down and answering questions without recalling what you heard on the news from memory? A whole lotta derp.
For instance, a portion of the ACA was cut and you don't hear anything about it, while it pretty much is a betrayal of policy.
Concerning the Senators got a 154 page bill three minutes before the vote; I was always under the impression Senators had under-staff and interns reading through these bills during legislation with periodic briefings to update them on any changes. Is that not the case?
Politicians don't even read the bills themselves? What the fuck do they even do then? Be actors?
This surprises you?

First two that come to mind. There are more.
I'm still struggling as to how Reagan was such a great president.
trickle down economics
reaganomics, more like gayganomics, where the guy on top fucks the shit out of the guy on the bottom.
