Looking for participants for a small-scale research study.

I am currently a student at the University of Derby in the UK. As part of my assessment for my sociology degree I have been required to design and carry out a small-scale research study on a topic of my choosing. I chose to look at the impact, both good and bad, that videogames can have on family dynamics.

I am looking for 3-4 participants who wouldn't mind being 'E-interviewed' which involves answering a few sets of questions that I will pose via email. Ideally I am looking for participants who have had extensive first hand experiences of both these good and/or bad effects.

What kind of demographic are you looking for? Just curious, as BG is very heavily oriented to males in their early-to-mid twenties, often single, and I'm not sure what aspect of family dynamic you're interested in exploring. Feel free to PM if you don't want to discuss in thread.

Yeah sorry I should have been clearer on that. I'm not targeting any specific group of people in particular. Basically the demographic I was going for was 'anyone who actually responds'. I targeted a few gaming forums since they would give me the best chance at getting the kind of people I'm looking for. I wasn't expecting a large number of volunteers for this and due to the fact I'm working on a limited time scale I wasn't going to be picky. And as I've said it's only a small-scale and pretty generalized project so I'm not looking to conduct anything ground breaking.

I'm looking for any instances where videogames have affected the workings of a family or the relationships between family members, good or bad. I'm not specifically looking for immediate family examples either, although these would be preferable.

I can offer a very negative situation, but it's not my family, it involved a good friend and I was front and center for the entire several-year-long situation. I don't know if you're looking for that or not, but that's really my only experience in this area.
