A&M fans won't be salty considering they know it'd be just another unranked year of hoping to finally be competitive again if they'd had to keep up with big 12 offenses last year.

If Ohio State didn't have the tattoo thing, we likely would have had an Ohio St. / Notre Dame Champ Game last year. That's a good reason why the playoff system can't get here soon enough.

I guess I don't have the right to jump in on Dyer discussions because it's not like I totally went to Auburn, still have strong ties there, and follow the team even when they go winless in the SEC for the first time since I've been alive..

But okay. I'm just piling on, and it isn't a fact that Dyer hasn't been able to stick around anywhere since he left the Plains. :/

I didnt say you couldn't jump in. I just found it funny that an Auburn fan would make hay about it considering Louisville has already took one of their dismissed malcontents and had nothing but good things to show for it. Dyer stuck around at his last school and made quite an impression. He could completely fall off at Louisville, but he's shown recently he can keep his head on straight. Louisville has 2 very good backs already and were a top 10 team before Dyer. They don't have a lot lose here by picking him up.

MIAMI -- The NCAA is investigating whether Heisman Trophy winner Johnny Manziel was paid for signing hundreds of autographs on photos and sports memorabilia in January, "Outside the Lines" has learned. Two sources tell "Outside the Lines" that the Texas A&M quarterback agreed to sign memorabilia in exchange for a five-figure flat fee during his trip to Miami for the Discover BCS National Championship. Both sources said they witnessed the signing, though neither saw the actual exchange of money.
