early whispering is it is a limited action designed to prevent the Syrian government from using chemical weapons again and is not the beginning of a campaign aimed at regime change. it's certainly a far more constrained response than the nation-wide no-fly zone that Rubio, McCain, Hillary et al desired. ironically it's pretty much exactly what Obama was looking at doing in 2013.
