Metal Gear creator Hideo Kojima appears to be teasing a big Phantom Pain announcement possibly during the PlayStation meeting tomorrow.

There’s a mysterious new message posted at ThePhantomPain.com. It reads:
“Phantom pain is the codicil allowed by any conscious luminary in response to any truant limb or an apportion of the limb.”
The number 2:20 sits below this cryptic message. The words PAIN, LUMIN, and PORTION are all in what appears to be a slightly pink color.
In the source code for the website there’s a second message:
“The Neuromatrix effectuation and schemas of Phantom Pain are all presupposed by probative concepts and attestations.”
I take the 2:20 number to be a date—namely, tomorrow’s date, which is the same day Sony will almost certainly announce the PlayStation 4.
But what about the rest of it?
Well, in the context of the date, I think what they’re getting at is that everything we think we know about the Phantom Pain game (which is almost certainly a new Metal Gear Solid title) is based on presuppositions—or, in all likelihood, misdirection from the prankster Kojima.
My bet? We’re about to hear of a next-gen Metal Gear launching with the PlayStation 4 which will likely be Metal Gear Solid 5.
After all, it’s not just the Moby Dick Studios misdirection at play, it could easily be the assertion that the game is coming to current-gen consoles.
Or I could be grasping at straws. Predictions are often just traps for the eager.
Either way, I suspect we’ll know more tomorrow.
Oh, and Moby Dick Studios has released an “alternative” trailer to the original Phantom Pain teaser we saw earlier:

Alternate trailer in the link. Thinking this is Ground Zeroes and it's going to be on PS4.

Gaming journalist Geoff Keighley has conducted an interview with the elusive Joakim Mogren, which will be aired tonight on GTTV. It doesn’t exactly make things any less mysterious. Keighley said he saw some new photos, that this was a weird interview and that Joakim wasn’t Hideo Kojima. But when someone asked whether this meant it was not a Metal Gear game, Keighley stated there is ‘definitely still a chance’ this is in fact Metal Gear related after all.

The Phantom Pain will see a full unveiling at the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco later this month, Joakim Mogren, the supposed CEO of supposed game development studio Moby Dick, has confirmed.

“Yes, I plan on attending this show [GDC] coming up in San Francisco, but I don’t have anything to show today, unfortunately,” said Mogren on tonight’s episode of GameTrailers TV. “This year’s GDC show, I will have a new Phantom Pain trailer, and I can confirm that it will answer all of your questions.”

Asked if the game is a next generation one, Mogren said, “Unfortunately, I cannot confirm that.” Pressed if Moby Dick has next generation developer kits, he said he could not confirm that either.

Mogren then showed host Geoff Keighley a few new concept arts and screenshots on his iPad, which featured a FOX Engine logo in the lower right corner.

The Phantom Pain is widely believed to be a new Metal Gear game. Reasons for this include: 1) Joakim is an anagram for Kojima (the creator of Metal Gear), 2) there are several references to Metal Gear in the trailer, and 3) tonight’s FOX Engine reveal (FOX Engine is Kojima Productions’ engine).

I know none of the videos point towards it, but c'moooooon Metal Gear 1(not Solid, although that would be somewhat nice too) remake with the Fox Engine!

I just really hope the "big reveal" isn't more Ground Zeroes.
