The Phantom Pain (PS3/360)

Seems kojima is somewhat following the star wars 1-6 model. big boss is basically anakin/darth vader (or osama bin laden). "episode 3" being whichever is the direct prequel to mg1 (with mg1+2 being episode 4 i guess), is it going to be mgs5/phantom pain? i think its a good guess. I don't know the pacing, there's still a 20 year gap between the 2 sets of stories. Metal Gear 1 & 2 should definitely be remade, they're pretty cool all by themselves.

Now that Solid Snake and Big Boss are well-known characters that we actually care about, I feel the ending of Metal Gear 1 with them facing off against each other could be so fucking awesome and emotional. Kind of like the ending of 4.

Definitely, but until Kojima runs out of ideas I'd rather see him moving forward rather than backwards. Forwards as in new stories/game play rather than remakes. I've honestly wanted to see Big Boss and Solid Snake fight since MGS3.

With a gamecube version of MGS1 and HD collection for PS3 there is no fuckin way in hell they gonna remake any of them. It's Ground Zeros or MGS5. Or maybe they the same thing. Or maybe it's something else he wanted to do, I know he's been saying he would like to do something outside MGS.

Taken from /v/, so take it with a grain of salt. Would be crazy if it was true and it seems like the type of shit Kojima would pull.

Okay, so, a friend linked me to the Joakim Phantom Pain interview dealio and submitted that it was not a real person, because shit looked off and the "Fox engine?" question is probably their not-so-subtle hint.

Pay attention to the neck, mostly, since the wide movements of the upper head (particularly on the interviewer) distorts this. Notice how Joakim's flesh tone stays near-standard.
