So I accidentally attacked an NPC and now he hates me? Any way to reset it? Ended up killing him, seems it was Pate who gives me the White Sign Soapstone >_<
Anything I can do to get the stone? >_<

It works both ways. Iirc the lizards that drop crafting materials were also single spawn only in Dark Souls 1. Been renewing Dragon's Aerie to farm the lizards and beef up some gear before I NG+
About those two invisible weapon rings... I wish the devs had kept them a secret. I know when the pc version comes out dat mining would find that they exist, but I would just want to know how long it would have taken for the community to find out about their existence.
anyone know where i can get more iron arrows aside from the 50 available at the first blacksmith?
You know what would be awesome? Being able to PvP. I don't know if something is borked or just the servers being garbage but I can't find any duels (thus I can't get any more cracked red eye orbs), I've been invaded a grand total of twice, and I've seen like 3 invasion signs total.
Yeah but that's like boring as hell. I want to actually make use of this covenant (and try and figure out it's effect on things).
Finally ended up in offline mode and remembered to check my deaths. I'm up to 263 at SL121, 1797351 Soul Memory, 77 Hours playtime. As for being invaded, you're probably more likely to be invaded while in NG since once you go NG you can buy the invade orbs infinitely from an npc. I've had no problems with co-op though. I've killed around 50 bosses for people so far, and have had no problem summoning people when I needed halp.
Can you be summoned to help kill a boss you've already killed? Tried sitting outside some of the easier boss rooms the other night to farm some souls and didn't get summoned at all. Maybe everyone is just past those parts, but when I was doing it before I beat the boss for practice I usually got summoned right away.
For sure. I generally hang out around the last few bosses I killed. Or try the harder ones as people or more likely to be summoning. I helped out on sentinels at least a dozen times. Skeleton lords are a good one too. I tried gargoyles a lot but world masters get killed way too often. Its fun killing time between summons by getting invaded by the bell keepers tho
I'm talking about the actual dueling arena.
So his grave popped up an hour or so later. Looks like I can pay 2k souls and talk to him.
And his Ring of Thorns and Spear sound like they'd be more useful now than later so I'm not too upset about killing him anymore.
Man for anyone that needs sun medals, snake lady boss is the way to go. Just out your sign before the stairs that way you won't get summoned by people that haven't drained the poison
I did sorcerer/pyromancer/warrior/paladin type builds in Dark Souls 1 on PS3, but I sold it when I got my PS4, so now I have to wait until late April for the sequel on PC. Would a bandit build work, using light armor with daggers/bows work? There were some nasty daggers in DS1 (lookin at you, Priscilla) but I never did a bandit build there and I don't want it to be kinda stagnant when I start up DS2, so I want to try out a new class, and information on it is really scarce.
Would a fast/agile character be feasible (read: good bows/daggers available). Most people I see in videos/streams are using 2H clubs/claymores/katanas. Is there a Dark Wood Grain Ring equivalent?
No dark wood grain ring equivalent that I've seen, also... bows are better than ever now. Hell, I'm a very VERY low STR build so I just use the regular ass bow and its a monster. Bows are insanely good compared to Dark Souls 1.
Right now I'm rollin 40DEX and using Falchion+8/Short Bow+6/Poison Spear+5 on the right hand and it works very well. Poison is super strong in this game (and even bosses like Smelter can be poisoned, absolutely tore him apart.)
Left hand is my shield and pyro flame (I have no attunement so I am using the Southern Ritual Band so I can cast Toxic Mist, hoping to upgrade to Dark Fog when I get the +1 band and enough spices)
ooooo, twinblades look neat.
How's the magic? I gave up on my sorcerer build (at first) at four kings when I kept getting dumped on because magic was so slow, weak and left you vulnerable (i went back to it and got a moonlight greatsword). My first full playthrough was a Great Scythe that I +15'd and just kinda plowed my way through the whole game.
What's the fastest weapons in the game? I did the slow weapons through first on the first game, gonna do the inverse here
