Outside of the first one at the bottom of the hill? Nope. I just eventually got to the point that I extincted all the mobs leading up.

then I can equip a different ring, and/or grab an NPC/normal summon too.

I don't know what it was like in DeS or DkS1 since I didn't do too much PvP/Co-Op in those two, but being able to summon two phantoms is the norm.

Glitched back through floor after a fight and my souls were chilling. IM THE KING OF THE WORLD

Points to the doors you want to open. The left Sentinel points to the right side door that advances to next area. Opposite one leads to the Faaram armor (cover art set).

That's my guess anyways, I ended up opening all the doors and having to deal with all the sentinels.

Are you able to rejoin a covenant from the cat in Majula or is that just to leave a covenant?
Sunbro is in Harvest Valley I think in the area right before the castle, in a cave to the left of the castle.

How long is Dark Souls 2? HLTB says the average playthrough for the main story is 66-70 hrs, which is more than the 50hrs~ it says for DS1 (took me 30~hrs to beat it first time, I'm assuming that counts NG+?)


If it is that much longer, that's pretty awesome. I don't have it yet, gota wait for PC version since I sold my PS3

I killed the 2 watchers as soon as I was giving the King's Ring, I now I have the item that lets me go further in past them. Is that the point of no return or do I get more chances to mess around after the last boss fight?

Fucking finally. After I figured out how to beat him, I'm embarrassed I even had trouble to begin with.

There isn't a point of no return. You start NG+ from the Bonfire in Majula after final boss is killed.

Also I think that some, if not most of your complaints are remedied in NG+, I'm having a blast.

Also does using the White Soap Stone to help others not return you to human form in NG+? Cause I've been helping people and my health isn't going up at all.

EDIT: Apparently turning human after helping people with the White Soap Stone is a bug according to From's twitter a few days ago. Well that sucks, I was trying to save my effigies as much as possible.

Yeah i'm right around 45 ish hours soul level 131 all my gear except the hands/head +10 those are +8. Just finished the "final boss" only optional i have left is King Vendrick. Been working on him but time to go to work. He's kind of a pain i used last giant soul (don't know that it matters) but have the other 4. I'm just going around farming souls so i can buy out the shops of what i want before new game+ at this point and still trying to down vendrick.. pain as sorcerer.

Considering even the way to beat him fails about a quarter of the time, I wouldn't be embarrassed about anything. Hardest boss in game imo

Well I'm not sure if there's supposed to be some "official" way to beat him or not, but after dying to him enough, I figured out how to manipulate his A.I. so that he'd always (or very likely) use the move I want, or at the very least I'd know what he'd use next so I'd be ready for it.
