And yeah, they made the invading covenant such a huge pain in the ass to get to and it's pretty well hidden and you have to fight a pain in the ass boss.
And then most people that join the covenant probably just do so to duel each other.

Invasions suck because of soul memory. Once you start NG+, you should get invaded a lot more since soul memory is no longer a factor at the point.

Iunno, I'm in NG+ and killed every single NPC before starting it, and have invaded a ton and I don't get invaded at all still. Within the PvP level range.

Doing a h2h playthrough, it's actually pretty decent in this game. Having a blast with it.

i've seen a lot more red soapstone and dragon eyes around bonfires (especially iron keep #1) recently, as well as plenty of bellbro action, but without megamule giving people unlimited cracked red orbs you won't see much invading in ng. even then, tokens of spite aren't used to increase covenant rank so the reward for winning an invasion is pretty lame.

So I've been PvPing and every once in a while I'll be attacking someone and they'll "drop" a little firebomb out randomly as I"m hitting them. Is this the old knight armor breaking? or some other tool? It usually doesn't kill me but it pisses me off like Martyrdom in call of duty.

Am I the only one thinking Vengarl's head was removed by the same person responsible for the queen medusa lady's head? She seems to have a thing about making people headless given that she has an army of headless puppets. I'm thinking that if someone made the queen that way (like maybe Aldia or Vendrick- probably Vendrick as he seems to focus on the human chimeras) then maybe he needed a test subject and Vengarl was it. Absolutely zer olore I've found to back that up, but just seems like an Occum's razor type of deal.

I really wish they'd fix the PVP in this game. It's insane how bad some encounters can be. At the Bridge in Iron Keep there, summoning dragon douches for scales. This one guy, I couldn't deal damage to him no matter what. After some attacks, I run across the bridge to heal, and got backstabbed with him on the other side. This is getting so god damn annoying.


Holy hell Hexes are so strong. I'm now letting people summon me and just completely wrecking their shit with Resonant Soul. It's not even funny. I barely move. Just hit R1 a few times and they die.

Ok, I'm getting invaded a lot more in NG+.
And Myrrh I haven't had any problems with anything like that with the 4 regular invasions and the 10 some dragon/red phantom battles I've summoned in iron keep.

yeah i stopped using my hex build so much. had 30/40/40 attn/int/faith and could pretty much 1 shot anyone with grs with dark caitha's chime +10 haha. hexer hood, lion body/hands/feet and +2 clear bluestone ring etc. was fun, but not very challenging.

The fucking meta for PvP in this game is fucking retarded.

I'm not even sure how they can fix this but having people in super heavy fucking armor using super heavy weapons and still able to roll out of their combos with absolutely no consequences is absolute bullshit. If they're gonna be using heavy weapons like that then they need to be committed to their swings, not be able to dodge out of the way of a counter attack as if they're naked.

And let's not even get into how bullshit mage builds are in general, or the retarded Magic Infused Moonlight Great Sword + Crystal Magic Weapon bullshit.

I swear to god I've been beaten by people wearing full havels and dual wielding ultra greatswords who roll as fast as me with my dex build. This is fucking stupid.
