i honestly have no idea what im doing with mine, lol. pumping int and faith to at least 30, then pumping... the fast cast one to 50 as well as int together as fast as i can. after that, who knows. lvl 46 or so atm

I would only pump FTH as high as your best/most useful Hex (and then spice that shit down lol). Get INT and ATN as priorities with enough STR/DEX to wield a decent elemental weapon. A little ADP to round off AGL is nice too.

I'm still playing around with my Sorc, though more than pure Sorcery I'm just doing a magic attacks build. Might be worth having more FTH for better miracles, but I'm not much of a miracle man myself.

throwing lightning bolts is my favorite magic attack. now with my int and fth both at 30 i am conflicted on how to proceed and i want to get to the next level of lightning bolts but IS IT WORTH IT?

I thought my sorc build made the game silly easy until I forced myself to try a faith caster. Lightning damage is so overpowered. The scaling is amazing and you don't have enemies be resistant to it compared to magic. The great lightning is 42 faith I think but almost double the damage. Besides, you need 50 for the best chime anyway. The scaling of stats does go down after 30 but no other stat will do for you what that weapon will.

Don't forget to imbue lightning on your chimes too... just to make it even more OP.

Yeah, boltstone on the Dragon Chime is just silly and since it's 50 Faith, you can drop the Brospear down five points to have it as well.

if any of you pvp a lot, try parry + backstep together for a parry with iframes from backstep added in. works best with curved swords, but anything does the job really. also can be done with parry + roll. enjoy!

Youtube comments say the timing is more forgiving for weapon parries using that, which means this is some bullshit that will help dual wielders more than other people. Awesome.

Still, cuts down the active parry frames of... whatever you use it with so its not gonna be super easy to utilize effectively.
Potentially very powerful if you get it down though.

I wonder if it is at all possible with 94 AGL though. Guess its time to find out.

EDIT: Looks like it does, not super consistent... but that might just be poor timing on my part.
Also, I'm a rapier user so I need to remember to test this with right hand parries too.

EDIT2: Also, didn't even test on a character with 94AGL, this one had 87. Very hard to do with 87AGL but it worked occasionally. Like I said above, not super consistent (might need to be frame perfect with this level of AGL.) Was never able to do a right hand parry but I didn't spend much time trying it. I will practice more later.

Started farming Merciless Roenna cause I want her mask. She's a bitch to farm. She's easy to kill, but all the skeletons in the way make it a pain in the ass and after so many Ascetics, I'm having to take my time on Skeleton Lord boss (first two swarms anyways. Bonewheel dudes gotta go down fast) 3/5 on getting her to drop something, but so far it's just been 2 shields and a glove.

And I used a Seed of a Tree of Giants for the first time when I got invaded. Dude was just camping waiting for me so I decided to use it. Then I saw his life go down and die lol. I wish I kept up on farming those things. I only have 1 left.
