Dark Souls 2 (PC/PS4/XB1/PS3/360)

After I got Sunlight Spear I went and played with it in Iron Keep on the enemies that are at the front gates and the elites with the greatbows

@50 FTH with a Lightning Dragon Chime +2 (maybe 3? pretty sure it's only +2, I hadn't run through dragon shrine yet to actually get a respectable amount of bones) and the Sunbro Ring (5% Miracle damage), sunlight spears were hitting for 1200-1350

So if you're a magic build, black witch's staff is fucking amazing. I just got it and I'm having a blast being able to cast all types of magic without switching catalysts. PVP suddenly got a lot easier with it too.

Finally got around to farming 30 sunlight medals. I was killing the big things in Harvest Valley instead of co-oping since it was quicker, or at least quicker than the areas I was trying to co-op in. I swear they increased the drop rate on them too. The last time I tried in the previous patch, I didn't get a single one after two full clears. This time, I was getting 2-3 medals with each ascetic. And now I have my platinum. Hooray.

You had a hard time getting medals through co-op?


When I got bored I would just put my sign down at a fog wall of a boss I had just killed. Go 5-10 medals at a time without burning myself out over 3-6 consecutive bosses, and it went by so fast. I'm on PC since I no longer have my PS3 since I picked up PS4, but I was getting summoned within 10-20 seconds of putting my sign down 90% of the time.

My soul memory was over 12 million, so it seems the pickin's for co-op were a little slim.

So, I finally got the desire to play something hard. A game I can whittle away at every now and again but that isn't a push over. Should I get this game, or DSI? Playing on PC, if that makes a difference.

Get 1 first, use a controller, and use DSfix and whatever other mods to improve graphics. 1 is the better game.

Going to have to agree once again. Soul Memory is probably the worst thing. Then never mind that they brought back the worst aspects from each game like being able to break other people's gear, infinite stunlocks, lifegems (which are like herbs), fast rolling havel mofos, etc

Isn't that the bridge where if you spend too much time dawdling on it the dragon comes and it collapses?

if you (or more likely, the invader, as in the video) break too many eggs in the area and then take a while on the last bridge, it will appear. can't really rest at a bonfire while invaded, you know
