Game needs a password or save feature of any sort, accidentally hit escape and the whole thing just closed, was almost at the end too. ><
LOL i could only clear 4 bosses..
the easier 4.. blanka, rolento, chun li and rose..
i really do wish this thing had a save option. i could never do a mega man game in 1 sitting.
Akuma is so bullshit rofl, but I manage to beat him. Also here are the weaknesses for each boss if you want in the spoiler tag, and a code to get alternate megaman sprite:
Spoiler: show
Nice game and music, fair difficulty of bosses, done well with the SF aspect
Dislike shortness of levels (wheres my appear/reappear blocks?), lack of midboss (could use other SF characters for this), lack of save/password
Fairly easy game but I suppose that was partly due to the smallness of the levels. Weapons recharge on death surprisingly. Mega buster being chargeable made this game a lot simpler when I figured it out, never liked having that feature in classic Megaman. No save/password must have been a reason for these too. Seems they were more focused on the bosses aspect treating it like a SF game. A shame can't do multiplayer with these XD
But hey its free and fan made, for the most part, from what I know. Fun fun of course.
I'm loving this game. I'd love to put this on my Vita.
So only Esc and Enter seem to work on my work pc...
In case anyone wants to see my fight against Akuma:

Good stuff, though I tend to agree with the sentiment that no save/passwords is a bit of a drag. The original MM1 (as well as virtually every fighting game) had to be finished in a single sitting so I guess that was what they were going for.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Rolento has the DuckTales pogo sound effect!
ill stream my first playthrough too. twitch.tv/slottm
nice! subscribing ;o
Dude this game was fucking miserable on an xbox controller. the lil joystick is way too sensitive :/
Happy birthday Mega Man...

Is it because I haven't played a Mega Man in a long time or is this one harder then usual lol?
This one is easier than usual I'd say. At least the first 8 boss stages, I still haven't beaten the boss gauntlet.
Stages are definitely easier, I got to the end of pretty much every one without dying on my first try. In most of the other games I'll have a few deaths to spikes, vanishing blocks, or other unique mechanics but all are mostly absent here. They're a lot shorter than usual also. The bosses are probably pretty similar in difficulty. I think some are actually harder than average, because even if you have the weapon they're weak to, they can still be somewhat tough to take down. In most of the other games, if you had the right weapon you could pretty much just button mash the bosses down. The boss gauntlet near the end is definitely one of the hardest in any Mega Man game, due to the weaknesses being less powerful than usual and the fact that the bosses don't give you any energy when they die like they usually do.
Also, it seems like each E-tank appears only one time, and once you get it that's it. In the other games, you can farm E-tanks by suiciding and redoing the level if you're really stuck somewhere. Speaking of which, a couple of the E-tanks appeared inside walls for me, and I have no idea what to do to get them, none of the weapons seem to work. The one in Urien's stage near the end is the worst offender. Am I just missing something really obvious?
You can shoot the two hands thing at the boss gauntlet for energy refill pellets.
Oh wow, how did I miss that? Well, now I feel like a retard for making it way harder on myself than it needed to be. Thanks for the tip!
