UPDATE: I’m getting a lot of email that this isn’t a Marvel movie. Well, Stan Lee is listed as executive producer, and the Marvel logo appears at the front. Fox does a lot of business with Marvel because of X Men and Wolverine. They are in business together. Marvel wouldn’t let this movie out without its own approval.

The vast majority of movie goers (that I talk to at least) are unaware of the sony/fox/marvel film rights fiasco and assume they are all the same when they say marvel on them.

Actually I think MOST people ARE aware of which studios do what.

I love Doctor Doom. Hell, I think the baby is an interesting character in the future timelines (He's fucking strong as fuck), but as a whole the F4 is boring, and has been boring for years. Maybe there's stuff you can pick out and check out from the comics that's pretty cool, but like.. as a whole?

Maybe it's because there's been three major flops as films, and I'm burned out, but ugh.

If MCU got ahold of the villains, though.. well that'd be neat. But leave Torch and the rest away and just let the Avengers deal with Doom.

Only because I didn't know what people were talking about, so I looked up the character and saw the insane shit he can do because I'm interested. I don't care about Reed, Sue, or Johnny.

But it's cool. Being bored of a group of super heroes is just a case of not knowing what the fuck.

I didn't just recently look it up LOL. It was brought up, I don't remember which thread, maybe even super early in this one so I looked it up. How is that wrong or a crime? I don't get it. I'm basing a chunk of my boredom on the movies, I am pretty sure I said this.

ANYWAY. I apologize for coming across as one of those shitters who's only really followed something through movies and not much else. Sadly, I don't really get a chance to follow too many comics, and F4 is one I do not (hence me noting I did have to look up the stuff I mentioned earlier.)

I know it's not a big deal, but I guess I should have said "Man, the movies they've been in have been terrible, hopefully they don't make anymore" versus calling the entire team as a whole boring. So my bad. I haven't had the best of days today so I sort of let all my negativeness come out here like a derp.

So anyway, I won't shit up the thread with my opinion anymore until I do some proper research and read stuff. :< (And @Krandor, #601 is a tearjerker) but I swear it's so hard in comics at least for me to keep track who has lost their powers, gotten them back, died, been reborn, etc. That's half the problem with me trying to keep track of everything because I never know where to start, Haha.

On the topic of the movie, apparently a good portion of the scenes in the trailer aren't actually in the finished product. And which scenes are a reshoot are obvious due to Kate Mara wearing a wig.
