You know, normally, I don't care much about rumor articles. They're based on rumors, after all, and unless they are complemented by a bevy of sources, I don't care about them.

However...

Microsoft's popularity meter must be registering at an all-time low right now.

In the past, the company has been accused of buying off developers and publishers to erase exclusive franchises for Sony. [...]

Check out the latest report at Gamer.Blorge, where they first cite a Kotaku report that said Microsoft is throwing some weight around in an attempt to lock out games on the PS4.

In fact, the company is rumored to have spent around $1 billion in game investments and now, NeoGAF poster famousmortimer (who accurately leaked the PS4's launch lineup before the PlayStation Meeting in February) has heard more nastiness: It seems MS is spending a ton of money to keep publishers from showing their games running on the PS4 at E3 2013:

"I’ve talked to more people since then though and this isn’t the usual jostling for publishers on stage that happens at E3. Microsoft is throwing BIG money around to reverse course on idea that they aren’t a games console. The rumors are that PS4 versions of multiplats, by those who do take the money, won’t be shown AT ALL. Not on stage and not on the show floor."

For the record, Microsoft has canceled their roundtable discussion at E3 and they've also been canceling one-on-one interviews with various publications. Obviously, this leads one to the belief that they're sticking only with friendly sources as they don't want to risk incurring further public damage. famousmortimer also says Microsoft secured an exclusive partnership with Insomniac Games, who is now independent but once produced games exclusively for the PlayStation platform. There's also talk of Mirror's Edge 2 and Hawken being Xbox One exclusives.

If the bolded and specifically the underlined turns out to be true, it's been a blast, Earth, but I think I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

Twenty Games to be Shown Tomorrow for Xbox One

Microsoft will show 20 games during its E3 press conference tomorrow, Microsoft Game Studios boss Phil Spencer has told Spike TV host Geoff Keighley.

More games will be shown during the Spike pre-show, Keighley added. Spike TV has already confirmed an Xbox One game announcement before the press conference, and another one after.

It's not true (Regarding ME2 being exclusive). Here are some leaks for you. This guy has been 100% correct about everything he has said. He has multiple inside sources and his word is basically gold. If it does not say exclusive here it is not.

Beyond Good & Evil 2 teaser appears on Facebook, will probably to be shown at Ubisoft Conference

Beyond Good & Evil 2 may finally be happening, with Ubisoft dropping the most gentle of teases that Peyj and Jade will be back with us soon.

“We’re a bit busy prepping for E3. Time to call in some reinforcements,” the publisher wrote on its Facebook page.

The post was accompanied by an image of Peyj, the pig-like mechanic from Beyond Good & Evil.

Although the post then referenced Peyj as a “classic character”, all the other images on the page recently have been characters form currently active franchises, leading to speculation that Ubisoft is finally ready to reveal the new game.

Witcher 3 to be shown at Xbox One Conference

Polish news sources report The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be shown during Microsoft’s E3 press conference, confirming its release on the new console.

Heretofore, the RPG had been announced as a “next-generation” title for PC and “high-end consoles”, with an announcement following the PlayStation 4 to confirm that yes, Sony’s new box is one of those consoles.

Now, wprost reports Microsoft will formally unveil The Witcher 3 as an Xbox One title during its E3 event, according to Polygon and auto-translate.

Dragon Age 3 added to EA Conference

It wasn’t on the list, but BioWare has said Dargon Age will be a part of EA’s E3 conference.

“Watch the EA conference tomorrow at 1:00PM PST for something new from DragonAge,” franchise executive producer Mark Darrah said on Twitter.

Although it could be anything, it’s not much of a stretch to suppose Darrah’s talking about Dragon Age 3: Inquisition.

I'll be goddamned, it was MS approaching the big 3 on DRM, not the other way around. The world is more evil than I expected, that's what I get for having even a little bit of faith :D

Relieved that ME2 isn't exclusive. Hope for a PC version.
