Wasn't there a story not too long ago describing Rare's studios as like a developer's prison(obsessive levels of security/control)? I wouldn't expect anything more than mediocrity coming out of that place, no matter if they did announce they were working on 2 classic IPs at once lol

The approach to their office buildings, located in Manor Park near Twycross, is monitored by a number of cameras. Web video shows have been granted access in recent years, such as Eurogamer in November 2006,[28] The 1UP Show[29] and GameSpot UK's Start Select in May 2008. Internally, they are quite divided and operate in a slightly different way to other software houses.[13] According to Tim Stamper:
“ Rare has a different philosophy. We don't really have much contact with other game development companies and we just do things the way they've evolved. We try to employ people who are great games players and games enthusiasts and they're really interested in seeing the other games we're developing in the Company, so it's really a group of games enthusiasts all working together to produce the best games they can - that's Rare.[13] ”

More recently, Rare has denied a fan site, MundoRare, from filming a documentary about their studios, at MundoRare's own expense. The film was meant to celebrate Rare's 25th anniversary, and would have been distributed over the Internet and Xbox Live. Rare, however, denied permission to shoot this film, claiming it was not "on message". This led to controversy about Rare's current direction with Microsoft, as well as the shutting down of MundoRare, claiming that the site could not support Rare's new direction.[30]

I was reading about that and how they are going to play Dodge ball over the Sony conference because SpikeTV said "its too late to show the sony conference"

The rumor out there is that Microsoft has paid some money to SpikeTV to show off their console and not Sonys.

Doesnt really matter though, Microsoft is in such a hole right now I doubt anything will help them.

Honestly would you be surprised at this? MS is going to try to tilt the playing field as much as humanly possible. If that means shelling out a fuckton of money to Spike to cut the Sony portion of the show then that's what they'll do. If that turns out to be true people will just lambast them even more for being scared little bitches.

According to Twitch TV’s live streaming schedule during this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, Respawn Entertainment will be demonstrating their unannounced title to be published under EA, recently rumored to be called “Titan.”

The studio is set to stream on Wednesday, June 12 at 11am PST and you’ll be able to catch it right here.

Other recent rumors have indicated that the title will be exclusive to Microsoft’s Xbox platforms and that the game will have a heavy focus on multiplayer battles. You can read more about that right here.

What’s also interesting about Twitch’s schedule is that Ubisoft will be streaming an unannounced title as well at 2pm PST on the same day. Currently, the studio’s biggest titles like Splinter Cell: Blacklist, Watch Dogs, and Assassin’s Creed 4 are all already in the running at different time, so what could they be showing off other than these titles?

While we’ve heard nothing of the project for a while now, and while it may be a long shot, we’re hoping to get our first peek at Rainbow 6: Patriots.
