Back in the day when you searched anything on google, the front page was full of porn. search for "cats"? Got pages of pornos with women wearing cat ears. Search for "vegatables" got people shoving corn up their asses.

They changed the algorithm so that didn't happen anymore, but now their doing it for their images, too.

They aren't "censoring" your porno images, just changing the algorithm making it so you have have to search for specific things in order to get it.

That way when your little cousin Susie google's "sexy justin beiber" she doesn't get dicks.

Shit's not serious, and it doesn't set any worrying precedent. There are tons of search engines out there, just google is the most popular. I am sure there are search engines that won't do this to get the crowd that can't handle typing a few extra words in search of tats.

I LOVE how you're just pulling these justifications out of your ass with ZERO knowledge of what exactly Google's intention was.

The FACTS that we know so far, is that there was options under search preference to turn off the "safesearch" function. This option is now gone. Which means, we all abide by the same search preferences that Google is making us abide by with less options than before. THIS IS ALL WE KNOW FOR CERTAIN.

Now, is it true that you can get the same results by going about your search another way? Yes. But all we know is, we now have less control over our searches.

Seriously, you have been SO wrong about everything lately, but this one just tops it. Don't argue because I know you're just doing it for the sake of argument now.

No, you don't. You have just as much control as before. The only change is that there is no longer a 'moderate' safe search option, only filtered and unfiltered results. Oh and you have to be slightly more precise when image searching for naughty pics.

Your 'fact' is wrong. The option is still there. It just a checkbox to filter explicit results now rather than turning off safesearch.
