So wait, is Fulmination 40' or 30'?
same as said above, we have our thf sub dnc and mostly have him stay out of the way after th proc. Should be dying fairly quickly where only will see maybe 1~2 fulmination.
You can easily run the healer in and out between TP moves as well.
That's what I prefer to do ^
DRK takes more damage and doesn't have retaliation. If you have an option, WAR is vastly superior. Note that we did this prior to Delve (Current focus is BR, which doesn't involve cleaves). However, the main effect of these weapons is that DRK can skip minor cleaves (Roughly 3-4 mobs). If you're gathering packs of mobs, such as the entire wing of floor 1 ZR/AR, the damage per WS is still beneficial (For instance, if you have 12 mobs and do 1k to each mob, you're doing the equivalent of a 12k dmg WS with better damage spread). The white damage obviously suffers, but we usually balanced that out with efficient Embravas (Usually lasted part of floor 1 and into floor 2 cleave).
SSR specifically, you can fight the first two Jnuns individually and then cleave both sides and the rampart near the NM with Embrava up. Fight the NM after. For the four ramparts room, we slept the imp ramparts and had one of the DDs (Or the only DD if just one) one-hit the rampart. The cleaver gathers the Jnun and their ramparts to cleave. For floor 2, we buffed and then had the DD link the ramparts. You need to erase Aegis Schism immediately though. This will probably be as much cleave as necessary for DRK tbh. If you use WAR, you can cleave orobons (6 is very rough; 3 is fine) and gears (two ramparts worth of gears is fine).
How long do cleaving runs take, and are there any pieces of Morri+1 that are still strategically useful?
Hands+1 if you don't have Quauhpilli/Yaoyotle Gloves. Feet are still good unless you're willing to drop 25-30mil into forcing your Bokwus brd boots to be a nuking piece.
If you're not dropping 25-30mil, the Morrigan+1 will beat Quauhpilli hands due to the set bonus as well.
Cleave runs took roughly 45min to an hr. That's pretty much our BR time now, but again, we didn't have Delve weapons.
I cleave on BLU. SSR takes 70-75 to full clear all NMs, every gear, and every acrolith (linking the ramparts etc.). Time largely varies based on whether I get 2 magics off lamp. ARII full clear, all gears, NMs, takes 70-80m, also varying based on magic unlocks. Been a long time since I did ZR, but I think it took 70-90m for all gears (including that room with the single gears dropping purses) and NMs.
As far as I know, morrigan's +1 is still very useful for BLU.
Cleaving with Whisker? If so, didn't think it was viable on half the zones due to -stats or no-gear for the first two floors. Really would speed shit up on SSR due to the amount of mobs you have to kill in it.
Was originally planning to get morri+1 body/head for my blu requiescat set, but been thinking of changing my mind to get usu+1 head/feet for MNK for SoA content. It'd probably benefit more from that than anything I use my BLU for these days, and I doubt SE will fix BLU's spell performance in Delve content enough to warrant an ally slot over the usual top-dmg jobs.
anyone else notice that using formless strikes on cerb in BR2 causes it to go apeshit on TP moves? i use FS at 45% so it's not the every 100TP at 25% either.
I haven't, I normally melee til 75%, then ride formless strikes til it wears and just melee it down after (40% or so cus I take it real slow)
Actually, that said, I have never killed it without using FS so I wouldn't know...
I don't use formless (I bring brd mule on blm for random nukes while I dd on thf, not exactly optimal) but it definitely has some sort of increased TP gain at lower HP. For me it usually likes to spam Hoplon -.-
Ok so we went to zhayolm remnants ii and I was on PUP. When we got to the hydra bosses I switched to spiritreaver (blm) frame/head to start nuking. And with completely standard setup, it didn't nuke at all. It just stood there. Does anyone have any idea about this? It has only happened on the hydras in zhayolm 2, no where else I can recall using spiritreaver in the game.
You equipped Scanner, the automaton deemed its chance to get a resist too high, and thus it didn't cast at all. Standard Spiritreaver behaviour.
To get around this, either unequipp Scanner (it will nuke, and you will still get some decent ones, probably), skill up your automaton's magic if it's not capped, and/or use a Tranquilizer to increase its macc.
