Missing 3 Troll NMs in Bhaflau, certainly on second or third floor:

Troll Huntsman
Troll Spellbinder
Troll Occultist

My guess is that two of these are in the center room of the F3 north/south sides (of which you can only access one per run), with the third somewhere in the F3 central/east/west area, which you can access regardless of which side you come from (or possibly in F2 central area).

Occultist is a DRK NM, spawns after killing all 4 trolls where the puddings normally are and opening the east door. Drops Ritualistic Plans.

Spellbinder is a RDM NM, spawns after killing the trolls otw to portal going North. Drops Tutelary Plans.

Acrolith NM can drop both Tutelary and Ritualistic Plans at the same time.

LBC can drop Cotton pouch.

Probably Huntsman northwest then. So you can actually kill 3 NMs on F2 - 1 in the center, and 2 in the northeast and southeast rooms if you go east, or 2 in the northwest and southwest rooms if you go west. Similar to how SSR is biased towards Primacy (as the only zone to drop Primacy), Bhaflau is biased towards Ritualistic, but proper path selection can bias your drops in the favor of Tutelary.

i.e.

Max Ritualistic with full NM clear would be:
F1 east (Throat Tearer) - Ritualstic Plans
F1 center (Smouldering Dahak) - Ritualistic Plans
F2 center (Troll Occultist) - Ritualistic Plans
F2 west
F2 northwest (Troll Huntsman, most likely) - likely Ritualistic Plans
F2 southwest (Troll Guardian) - Ritualistic Plans
F4 (Acrolith) Ritualistic & Tutelary Plans

Max Tutelary would take the opposite path choices wherever a choice is possible, but the common NMs still drop Ritualistic instead of Tutelary.

Where does the Occultist spawn, just in the room you open the door in or what?

all in all, i kinda conclude that to get NQ chairman, you need to either:
1. Kill all possible NM on route for now, its possible to kill 5 NMs (Doom, fomor x2, orobon, chariot)
2. timing? get watever unlock u need on 4F and speed through to the door

Definitely not #1 - we did a run where we only killed 2 NMs and we were still able to pop/kill the NQ Dvergr on 4F (and HQ on 5F). Might be timing though, I bum rushed through that floor as soon as we ported up. Rest of my group met me there after I found the rampart. BTW, you missed the Qiqirn on F1 in the middle of the floor, so you didn't kill all the NMs.

It's also not #2, I spent 40-50 minutes on floor one (yeah yeah, was my first time and I had no idea what I was doing lol). I didn't get to NQ chair dude until I got the 10 minute warning. In reply to your question, Nynja, I sneaked my way passed all ramparts on 4th floor, only aggroed the last rampart in the room where East/West paths meet before the stairway hall to teleporter. 2nd floor, I linked 2 ramparts and had like 6 fomors on me so I wiped. My mule died near some fomors so I had to pull and flee to porter after I unweakened (all 6 linked but not the ramparts), aggroing all in my path. The only rampart I activated on 3rd floor was the one to spawn the Flayer NM, and the only one on 4th was the one that spawned NQ Dvergr. Maybe you just have to activate at least one rampart per floor?

Nevermind, someone reported that they skipped 3rd floor entirely . Also forgot to report that I killed two gears from a rampart, but I forgot which floor. May have been third or fourth trying to get a ranged unlock for BST alt, was 3AM when I did it so my memory is hazy. >_>

Pretty sure formless strikes is working on WS too on those cerbs, I did a 4k smite when it should have had pretty severe PDT. Unless the PDT wears off over time anyways, it was around 20% when I did that smite.

Someone on my server just told me they got Primacy Plans off Troll Huntsman in Bhaflau (F2, southwest). So there's one random NM in Bhaf that drops Primacy. Has anyone seen Ritualistic in a second zone besides Bhaflau? Perhaps SSR?

Edit: He also said there's an Archaic Gear NM in the first room of F4 that pops after killing 2 normal gear. The Acrolith NM is past that. So no NMs on 3F, and you can only pop one of the trolls in the corner rooms on 2F.

BR2 again, we did 1E, 2C+NW, 3E, 4E, Boss.

Once again we didn't get Cerb to pop on floor 4. The Rampart never spawned for us. Kinda sucks we're missing out on Linens. :/

BTW on Floor 4, the third single gear in the first room with monsters was an NM that dropped Ritualistic Plans.

Does it have something to do with how fast you kill the gears or something? Kinda confused at this point.

We don't go out of our way to kill stuff that isn't on our specific path, if that's what you're asking. Anything we run into, we kill, though.

Well fwiw, my group would kill everything on the way, and make sure to clear the room with the rampart that spawns all the trigears(including reinforcements). Didn't really do anything special though, I guess it could be kill speed related. MNK/WAR+WHM+BRDmule+THwhore who wasn't really DDing at all.

Whatever the trigger for it is, it probably isn't simply killing stuff, because we did kill all the gears on F3 from the rampart and we killed everything on the way to the central hall on F4. We did have someone get killed by the NM Acrolith, maybe death triggers NM not to spawn?

Just did Bhaflau Remnants II with SAM SAM MNK THF SCH RDM

Was able to clear all floors and boss with 30 minutes to spare.

Probably # of NM's killed to pop NQ Cerb on Floor 4?

1st Floor took the left wing, killed all mobs along the normal path including the 2 wamoura in the wings. Unlocked mostly armor pieces.
Goblins in the left side popped the Silent Smotherer Goblin. Has infrequent TA, pretty evasive and used PD. Dropped 1 tutelary plan. Dahak in the center room popped Smouldering Dahak. dropped 1 ritualistic plan.

2nd Floor had weapon and gear unlocks, can get everyone unlocked at this point. Had 4 goblins in the normal rotation where the flans were before. Dropped SJ/JA, pretty easy kills. Once all 4 dead, NM popped in north room, dropped 2 Ritualistic Plans. Took the west exit from here, killed 2 Troll Pups that dropped SJ/JA/1 random stat and popped Huntsman, which dropped 2 Primacy Plans.

3rd Floor had a ton of single gears. We were at about 55 minutes at this point so we bypassed as much as possible. First room had 2 gears, second had 3 gears, middle room had a few gears, left room had a few gears. Most of these died fast, but saw no NM's popped. Should have killed all of these in retrospect. Exited west room.

4th Floor had 5 triple gears and 1 Long Armed Chariot. Chariot could use Homing Missile which did 1.3k to all in range. 2 Acrolith in each rooms near the end spawned a larger one, which dropped a cotton coinpurse. Rechecked whole floor and no rampart popped, no ???'s

5th Floor had Cerberus with untargetable Rampart. Defense went up as HP went down, becoming very high close to 20%-30%. Did normal Cerb moves, got pretty spammy with GoH/TP moves near the end. Held 1 DD off and was ok. Dropped 45 Marduk hands.

Did you have a death on both runs? Only thing I could think of is kill speed or having them all killed within a certain amount of time of each other.
