Going off of ffxidb it seems every item drops from two boss sets, and by sets I mean NQ and HQ. Or, to rephrase, every item drops from two zones bosses. For instance, your usukane drops drop off of khim and dvergr, but not cerberus and hydra. I could be wrong though. I'm not sure exactly how ffxidb records drops.

i havent done zhalyom but im very very certain all drops have been recorded in all zones so far

Seems pretty conclusive that chariot-clearing greatly increases the chance of khim then, and the order could guarantee a pop. Has anyone killed The Armored Chariot last and not gotten khim to pop?

Our first run we killed Armored Chariot last after clearing the sides rooms and centre. No NQ Khim, but we also only cleard 4 single gears on the 5th floor.

The only thing we didn't do today that we have done every other AR2 was that we killed a stationary rampart + the 8 gears reinforcements from the 5th floor.

The only time we've gotten NQ Khim to pop was when we killed one of the ramparts on the 5th floor. I think we only killed one of the triples before we went up because we were running low on time. So killing all the triple gears from reinforcement doesn't seem like a requirement. Maybe it's just the rampart.

We did 2 AR runs tonight. Didn't get NQ Khim on either. First run we didn't kill any chariots on the next to last floor, just went straight for the Rampart. Second run we killed the chariots that were up first, then engaged the Rampart, only popped a Chariot. I pulled the remaining chariots from the side rooms and we killed them, still no pop. Ran around and deaggroed the Rampart. Reclaimed it and it just used Astral Gate or something.

Sort of the same thing for us. Haven't been able to get it to use reinforcement again after the initial TP move.

6) Kill 4x Archaic Chariot, Armored Chariot, melee Rampart and it pops a Chariot. Kill that Chariot, Repose the rampart and go kill the other 4 Chariot, deagro the Rampart and let it Regen to 100%/closed door, melee kill the Rampart slowly and it never uses Reinforcements again.
7) Khim boss, fucking Fulmination, man

I noticed this before and think I forgot to comment on it, but the Floor 6 Chariots only use Diffusion Ray and rarely turn around. Perhaps taking minimum Breath damage is related to popping the Chariot?

BR2 again, NO gear nm on floor 4 again, killed same time to test.
NO NQ pop after 3x triple gear room either. Might have killed too slowly if time based.
Last 2 runs I killed both puddings on floor 1, and both times the f4 gear didnt spawn for me. Prob not related though but it's how it is for me.
people getting hq cerbs, are you clearing all the trolls on either west or east side, or just killing the one in the middle and the one north or south in your path? I only killed 2/3 today and no hq. killed 3/3 yesterday, got hq.

Another BR2 report to add to the mix, since it was fairly minimal on extra kills and got HQ cerb:

1F: west, skipped first wamouracampa, killed second wamouracampa and western wamoura, skipped eastern wamoura, killed both moblins and moblin NM, dahak and dahak NM, ported up. (Unrelated, on one run we killed the two moblins with a decent amount of time between and still got the NM, but I see above that the first one might be unnecessary anyway, so I guess that whole class of theories may be shot.)

2F: killed all four trolls in the center, central troll NM (Occultist), western center troll pup (skipped automaton), SW path, skipped hallway troll pup, killed rng troll NM (Huntsman), took SW port up. (On the wiki currently it says there's a Troll Engraver in the western room before branching north/south, and has no info on the SW hallway troll- on our run both of these trolls were definitely PUPs with automatons.)

3F: skipped everything, didn't even aggro anything, took western port up.

4F: killed both triples fairly (2 seconds-ish?) close together, got triple gear NM and killed it, killed LBC, killed both acroliths and the acrolith NM. Killed the three triple gears at the end pretty rapidly, rampart popped, and eventually (was expecting more like SSR2 behavior, but we had to slap it around a little) popped Cerberus. Killed it (Neit's Crown), ported up, killed Seething Cerberus (Ate's Gauntlets, Linen).

When we fought the first Cerberus, there was something like 30 mins still left, in case there's any time theories floating around. The fact that we completely ignored 3F and still got the HQ seems like it might be the useful bit here.

It's incredibly unlikely that 12 of the drops would be completely absent from the FFXIDB drop list for Cerberus after 123 kills, so I strongly doubt that every level 45 piece drops from every boss:

Killed eastern 2 gears pretty much same time, but no pop today, so dunno on that one.
Maybe how fast you clear floor 1 matters too.

Check the page for the regular dvergr. Drop rates just on that mob range from <1% to just under 20% after over 100 kills. Two of the pieces are listed as 1 drop in 106 kills. It's not very likely, but I'd say it's still within possibility.

The tracking could also be a bit messed up, as a couple of the HQ bosses are reported having >100% drop rate on linens.

Arra:

Chigoe Stinger: Between the second and third rooms of each wing, an untargetable chigoe may be present. These NMs can only be aggroed and fought after clearing all monsters in that wing. Once one Chigoe Stinger is popped, the others will despawn.

I've found it to be up in only one wing at any time, chosen seemingly at random. I've entered, s/i around, and ran to all 4 wings, only to find it in one, twice now. Has anyone actually seen it up in two different wings?

Defeating the Lamia Fatedealers and Lamia Dartists will spawn Lamia Spoliator (NM).

More of a cosmetic change, but that should probably be "Defeating both of the the Fatedealers and/or Dartists...". We know the spawn condition is the death of both of those types, just havent been able to pinpoint what causes the discrepancy.

It might be worth noting that the 5f ramparts gears do not spawn immediately aggressive. Most of us know this by now though.

NQ Khim can use fulmination at low HP as well, and it reaches past 25'.

1f Poroggo Comtesse can use Manafont, not sure about 3f.

Clearing the room and opening the exit door will spawn an Archaic Gear NM. You cannot enter any other wing, as the doors to them are locked.

I mentionned this earlier, but no one commented on it. The room must be cleared before opening the door, or the NM wont spawn.

does 4f actually have any mamool NM's? I've cleared that room, and nothing spawned, not to mention ffxidb has no reported Salvage II drops for either the Bounder or Savant. All pages seem to be 100% on 1 drop, so something would have popped up by now.

1. replicated my run as before, but didnt kill dahak NM (door opener totally forgot abt him and warped lol)
2. forgot center troll NM after opening door too..........
3. 3F cleared everything, including both sides gears x 16 for alex
4. 4f, killed gear x2 same time (east) and popped gear NM
5. kept key buffs like medidate, sekkanoki, last resort on acro NM and fully buffed up and opened door
6. killed the 3 gears super fast speed like under 1.5 mins and popped rampart (suspected time pop)
7. NQ and HQ dropped stuffs thats been recorded on BG wiki

its over 23 from khim for sure, its a near impossible kill with 1 backline job (its rate of attacks coupled with the 10 second stun on top of the super potent paralyze). The area iteself is ridiculously easy, can duo all the NM's and clear 2 ramparts on 5f, khim is a bloody joke as well, and then it fulms and everything falls apart in 10 seconds.

lol I just noticed I resisted fulm damage haha, except for the fact it doesnt even seem to be stunnable. Only thing I can probably think of is stacking up PDT when I'm stunned/para, but even then, still going to have to deal with 60 seconds of
