Been playing with SAM sets and the set bonus doesn't seem to change anything which is a shame. Was hoping to work in the Head or Hands along with feet.

It's good news for Koga owners. Body+1 was already a very marginal upgrade during AM3. Now we get to drop Phos +1 for Goading and 5 more STP, possibly allowing for a grip change, but I have to look more into it.

Oh yeah, that's a good point. The day we got charioted our THF was missing ranged.

hmm, no I dont think thats it. I'm pretty sure one of those times I got khim, I forgot to unlock backwaist on my mnk (overlooked it completely, thought I got it from a kill), and last night I was definitely fully cleared on all accounts since I had to go through my logs to see when I entered (otherwise I'd just use the pathos timer).

Had NQ Khim last night and my pants were still locked so if it involves unlocks it's not "everyone has everything unlocked." I really think it just revolves around killing stuff (either # of mobs or time or whatever). I go with 5-6 people usually and we've always killed basically the same amount of stuff with the same speed and we've always had NQ and HQ Khim (5/5-ish).

Well same for us last night. We killed everything on the 5th and 6th floor like we always do and for whatever reason khim didn't pop. 90% sure it doesn't have to do with kill speed or specific mob kills. I'm going to try to bring rampart down lower this time with sudden lunge.

80ish. Today was around 50% and it popped khim. Used stun when its doors opened.

No weather, ice day. Forgot to check time but must have been somewhere around 16:00.

Only other difference is we did not clear the room of gears at H-8/9. Still killed all the ramparts and triple gears.

Oh I was missing hands too so it's definitely not tied to that.

Bhaflau single gear side of 4F (east) - killed both single gears less than 1:25 after porting to F4 and within less than one second of each other, no NM spawn. Going to go with not time-based. Cleared F3 previously, didn't do anything particularly different than previous runs and always popped Gear NM in the past. No clue.

Had 6f rampart pop reinforcements at 40%...charioted. If its "have it do it a certain HP threshold", its a pretty damn low threshold.

as we all know, SE doesn't like to keep coming up with original ideas, they rehash old content. BR had 10 gears you had to kill within 1 minute, BR2 you have to kill the three tri-gears within 2 minutes. zhayolm you have to clear all the gears and the chariot, zhayolm2 you have to clear all the gears. AR you had to kill all the gears within 7 minutes. I'll bet AR2 has something similar.

I've still never not seen a Khimaira NQ. I've been doing Arrapago with one other person every day because it drops the plans we need.

F1: Clear bare minimum for appropriate unlocks and the wing the Chigoe is in. I've always ported Northeast or Northwest, no idea if it matters.
F2: Kill the two Lamia, the four gears, and the NM. Port.
F3: Kill one room of Flytraps, one room of Qutrub, the Acrolith, the North Archaic Gear, and North Archaic Gear NM. Port North.
F4: Kill the Acroliths, Acrolith NM, Lamia Dartists and/or Fatedealers and links, then kill NM. Port.
F5: Anywhere from killing all singles to only killing the four in the Rampart room. Lately, we've only been killing the four in the rampart room for unlocks (sometimes some aggro on the way). We haven't touched Ramparts since our ~4th run.
F6: We usually kill the 3 (or a 4th if necessary) Archaic Chariots for STR. Then we kill Armored Chariot. The first time in the zone we didn't touch the chariots except Armored which we killed (on this run, we did, however, clear all ramparts).

NQ Khimaira has popped every time.

I've done almost exactly that run and had NQ Khim not pop from the Rampart. The only notable difference is that I kill Flytraps on floor 4 instead of 3 if I go the north path.

It's obviously not a super high sample set, but we've done the zone 12 times now. :s

The only thing we've never done is spend an extended period of time on Floor 6 or fail to kill Armored Chariot.

Got chariot today, first time out of 5 runs. Only thing different today was I took longer to kill armored chariot, over 3 minutes today, usually under 3 min.
Rampart was 40% on reinforcements. Was fireday, 18:00 nighttime or so. Also chigoe was in SE today, usually was in NW SW.
