    Yeah whereas I want the Morrigan's +1 feet and body because they outstrip everything else. Marduk +1 head, Fea's and then Morri hands +1 would be nice upgrades for my SCH too. It's the fact they've put SCH on things which makes a lot of the set useful.

    I think there are more NMs than we think and many of them have either non-obvious names or names which were already in the dats. Saying "nothing more complicated than killing things nearby or opening the door" only proves that you didn't pop any NMs that are more complicated to pop than killing things or opening doors, not that there aren't any.

    This gear seems obsolete to legion/NNI/ and AF3 still. SCH couldn't use morrigans so maybe SCH sees some use from this gear.

    If Linen is 100% drop rate, thats some serious profit to be made though and that would almost balance the mythics from the relics and empyreans in difficulty.

    Even if not guaranteed, the Linen drop rate from final boss is very high. Plus there's another potential Linen from the minor boss on the previous floor (which I honestly think some people are confused with in this thread and I'm still not totally convinced that the final boss drop rate isn't 100% unless someone can restate that with certainty). That said, the amount of Cottons you get is lower because many NMs don't drop them (unless we just haven't found most of the ones that do, which is also possible).

    Yeah, I am not sure if anyone has posted that they didn't get a Linen from the HQ boss. I'm not throwing my hands up and singing the praises of Neo-Salvage for Alexandrite because of the low Cotton drop rate. We got one cotton across two runs and killed plenty of NMs with TH7. A single Linen and some singles is going to net out at about 1 SSR run, and I can 3-box that.

    FFXIDB needs its monster lists updated and then it should go back to working.

    Also, when I say that we popped every NM, I mean that we even killed things that weren't obviously NMs (like thing just named "Archaic Gear" in the .dats) I numbered the monsters in the zone so I could be absolutely sure where we were and confirmed that we were seeing all the monsters that were in that section of the .dats. If there's something more complicated than what we saw, it did a really good job hiding itself.

    Now, with that said, there certainly are things that people haven't figured out yet. Like, pulling a rampart on the (5th?) floor of Arrapago in a certain room spawns a ton of hard-hitting Gears. Clearing the Pugils in Zhayolm spawns (10?) Gears as well. Perhaps this is SE's idea to allow us to farm Alexandrite, or perhaps they serve another purpose. Either way, there's nothing about this Salvage that indicates it will be remotely as difficult to figure out as old-Zhayolm or as hard for a level 99 party as something unweakened LBC was at 75. Also, the near-complete lack of new TP moves is kind of a downer.

    Nevermind 3 box SSR, SSR can be consistently full cleared solo as a BST. Hell if I can do it with my mishmash of BST gear (i.e. whatever I have for other jobs that BST can equip) then anyone can. (Unless you mean 3 box new SSR in which case, ignore the above)

    So yeah, the Alex drop isn't anywhere near comparable to what you would get doing old Salvage purely for Alex.

    We popped Cerberus on BR II 4th floor but didn't kill and still got orthrus on 5th floor, they both seems to get a big dt-(pdt-%) as time/or health goes down, timed out due to dt/stoneskin spam, was drk thf whm trio.

    Same we did SSR2 yesterday, went up CCC side. (we never killed all the ramparts in CCC room) Was no Dverger that I could see.

    On 2F we went east and we ended up fighting a Fomor THF NM. Went up NE path on 2F, was a Soulflayer NM in first rampart room you come across (Gyro Gear room that drops skadi hands in SSR1).

Unless you're with a very large group, clearing the first floor and second floor completely seems useless and there doesn't seem like much of a reason to bring that many people.

    It also looks like the boss pops from the untargetable wall regardless of killing the NQ on the previous floor.

    This Salvage seems much more boring ;-;... All the doors either stayed sealed or were open from the beginning and besides clearing all the toads on the first floor it didn't seem like anything had other spawn conditions (granted, we missed quite a bit).

    Incorporated all of my info and whatever other info I could readily incorporate from this thread, plus a bit more someone added to the Wiki last night.

    Feel free to tear it up, add anything missing, correct anything wrong, etc.

    Maps are obviously just placeholders for now (they are the original SSR maps).

    On any given run, there are two accessible NMs on each floor 1-3 (one on the separated paths, one in the common area), the Dvergr NM on floor 4, and the final Dvergr boss on floor 5. Makes a total of seven accessible NMs plus boss per SSR2 run, at least from what's been discovered so far. There could be missing ones - I'm thinking there might be something in the separated paths of floor 4 (the Dvergr is in the common area at the end).

    Sounds almost identical to our run. Ran around the first couple floors kiling stuff with little gained. Ended up porting through the last few floors because of time and had very little gear unlocked.

    And yes I 100% agree it was boring as crap, hopefully there is more to it.

    Just did SSR.
    Most have been allready said but Long-armed chariot on floor 3 can use Brainjack. He got it off just before it died.
    On F4 east path, a Argolith poped from the 2 ramparts at J-9. The ramparts aggroed so the agrolith popped with at least 6 gears as well. Best have your sleepga/lullaby ready for this part. we killed it but no drop.
    After this we where low on time so we skipped the last ramparts and went for the boss floor. Here we fought a NM called Dverg. It went down in no time and his only real danger was his magic. 2 45s dropped and no title.

    The NM on the boss floor (floor 5) all by itself in the big open room was called "Dvergr"? Not "Bloodthirsty Dvergr"?

    Pop and kill or just pop? Last floor is guaranteed NQ unless you fulfill the precondition?
