Salvage II - Slavage Harder

Just 2 boxed SSR with MNK + WHM, nothing that hasn't already been mentioned.

Dvergr on f4 dropped genta gote, HQ Dvergr dropped genta kabuto and a linen. Seems as though the 45 pieces can all drop from any of the zone NQ/HQs.

Dvergr fights weren't hard, NQ I engaged with 1/2 mp and broken heka set (missing 2 tick of refresh) and it went down fast. HQ spammed t5 spells at start and I ran out of mp around 30% hp, managed to survive with benediction. I would recommend bringing a decent MDT set (which I didn't) and tping in it if mage starts getting below 50% mp or you get cursed

We didn't kill any rampart quickly in our run.

Nearly every rampart we let pop at least 2 reinforcements, if not more. The final rampart on 4F which spawned the NQ Hydra popped it first and nothing else. Byrth was fucking with ramparts while we cleared gears except for the last rampart.

can you confirm 4F? i dont recall there being any ramparts there, i assume you mean 6F. either way can you clarify exactly what you killed and in what order, we cant seem to get the hydra to pop

What did you kill on the way up? Still trying to pinpoint what causes NQ Dvergr to pop on 4f.

The Doomed NM on f1 west side, f2 the pld fomor NM on west side, f3 psych flayer NM and 1 LAC (i also only killed 1 rampart in LAC room for its rampart to spawn. F4 killed first rampart then ran straight to dvergr rampart and killed that.

Sorry, whichever floor was last before the boss floor. The old Chariot+tons of gear floor which is now 3x Ramparts and tons of gear + acrolyths floor. NQ Hydra popped from the solitary one on the other side of the room, while we killed gears, Byrth killed the other two ramparts+their reinforcements.

Did another Arrapago run. May have been full NM clear, not sure.

1F - cleared wing for Chigoe Stinger NM. Once you pop one Chigoe Stinger, the others despawn, so you can only pop one.
2F - You have to clear the 2 Lamia in the room you start in before Gear pop. I watched them pop as the 2nd lamia died.
3F - Acrolith NM may have no spawn mechanism. It was in the 3rd Qutrub room as others have said. Archaic Gear NM at porter to F4 (in whichever room you opened) spawns when you kill the Archaic Gear floating in the 2 long halls. Watched it spawn as 2nd Archaic Gear was killed. Ported north.
4F - Acrolith NM spawns from the two Acrolith. One of the NQ Acrolith (not NM) dropped a Cotton Coinpurse. I'm fairly certain, though not positive, that Lamia Spoilator pops when you kill the 2 Lamia Dartist. Popped when the 2nd Lamia Dartist went down, with 2 other Lamia left.
5F - Nothing noteworthy. Full cleared the rampart/gears room, nothing popped anywhere. It is worth noting that every one of the triple gears dropped at least one alexandrite. It's also worth noting that they don't instantly aggro or link upon spawning, they actually give you a decent amount of time to finish off the rampart and gtfo (if you leave the rampart they'll link since the rampart cant move). They also go down very fast, just AoE sleep and pick them off. We got 51 single Alex total over the run, plus the alex in purses, so it was a pretty good haul.
6F - Pulled rampart after killing all the chariots everywhere, spawned Khimaira. Another Namru's Tiara, no Linen tonight.
7F - Khimaira Prideleader. Yet another Namru's Tiara, and a Linen. I'm all but positive that HQ bosses guarantee Linen.

Overall, 144 alex, 8 slips (bloodshed/umbrage), 2 45s.

Has anyone figured out where the Qutrub NM is? Someone mentioned before that the south side of F4 does not spawn a Lamia NM even though they killed all the Lamia. I know there's a big room of Qutrub on the south side of F4, so I'm guessing the south side has a Qutrub NM that spawns in there while the north side has the Lamia NM. Both sides have an Acrolith NM.

Bosses definitely seem like a guaranteed Linen. Alexandrite market should become fairly saturated again.

Its on BG wiki, western path of f1, G-8 and G-9 kill the 2 ramparts plus imps they spawn, it then pops in room at G-9.

Doing this now, Didn't pop after the 2 dartist's but we kill the rest of them and it popped when they all died.

Popped before we killed every Lamia, so must be before that.

We pulled the first dartist fine, but then the THF managed to link/agro almost everything in the room. Killed the other dartist and and the NM didn't pop, so we killed all the agro, went back in and there was still no NM. Killed the last one (SMN I think it was) in the room and the NM popped when it died.

Also, how do you pop the NQ Khim on the 6th floor? Is it CC style where it pops on its own or do you tp it to make it use reinforcements? We never got NQ from it just another chariot

EDIT: Our drops were umbrage from chigoe (NW path), bloodshed from 2nd floor gear, umbrage from 3rd floor acrolith, 2 bloodshed from 3rd floor gear, bloodshed from the 4th floor acrolith, and another umbrage from lamia NM. No 6th floor NQ Khim, 7th floor NQ Khim gave us genta gote and a linen purse. Just incase anyone was keeping track of those kind of things

For SSR2, maybe the nq boss is not a 100% pop? It pops randomly. Probably the same mechanism for all zones.

Unless you mean HQ bosses, Linen are definitely not 100%.

Also... has anyone found drops like the cards in Salvage I which might be used in other zones?

No you don't need the NQ wins. You do need them for the titles presumably though.
