Question: On the Fourth Floor of Bhaflau Remnants II, if you are taking the Eastern Path, do you have to destroy both gears at the same time to make the Gear NM spawn or kill the smaller gear first then the larger gear? On BG wiki it says to kill the smaller/lower gear first then the larger gear to make the Gear NM spawn. But we tried that and nothing spawned. Is that wrong? Are we suppose to kill both at the same time like the western path?

Lower one first, then the other. Never had any issues getting the NM to pop doing it that way.

Also is there anything a WAR can do against Cerberus on Bhalfau Remenets during its massive PDT? We dont have a drk it's only WAR THF WHM.

Requiescat is pretty decent if you don't have a way to make skillchains. Will still do pretty good damage with food and a somewhat decent set.

I use BLU THF SCH and can clear everything, including all possible alex routes and NMs. I have no reason to use a different setup, and I'm sure that's true of others as well. That said, there's nothing 'wrong' with the setup you posted--I'm sure it would work just fine--however, I would use a SCH over a WHM to speed things up.

Sorry one more questions. For Bhalfau Rem II 4th floor, does the 3 gears have to be defeated after opening the door within 2 mins, or can you defeat 2 first then open the door and then defeat the last for cerberus to spawn?

95% sure they don't even pop until you open the door. That said, I've never failed to pop NQ Cerb, and we never unload on them to begin with.

Yeah SCH > WHM as someone said. Cure IV is more than enough nowadays especially since it's been buffed, much better Regen, 7:30 haste/regain plus a lot more other utility from SCH.

We kill a few gears on 4th floor, never noticed any difference to either Cerbs' PDT though. Then again, Mura sam makes Cerb a joke.

According to Byrth's test on the previous page, skillchains don't appreciably impact its damage resistance.
