Khim is at the bottom of the scale from what i remember. Only real dangerousness is The Paralyze move, Fulmination, and even thats pretty handle-able. Pretty sure all of them are pretty easy but i think its Dvrgr > Hydra > Cerb > Khim... Only cause Hydra can be a pain in the a** with Shields if he gets em up, and Dvrgr can get lucky with a M.DefDown > Nuke if your WHM isn't quick.

Yeah it must be, as easy that was. I was expecting to kill NQ and be raped by HQ. Is there any reason I would need to change to SCH for other zones? I could go WHM SCH or RDM but when I thought about it RDM really seemed best.

Khim is definitely the easiest boss in my experience. Then Dvergr, Cerberus, and Hydra. The hydras hit like a truck and have obnoxious regen on top of their bulwarks. Cerberus just hits hard. The only dangerous thing about the Dvergr is getting nuked while you still have the magic defense down debuff on.

What setup do you go with? We go MNK, THF, SCH and with Protect, Phalanx and Defender up it's still completely fine to full-time counterstance and I never use any DT- gear. Infact if anything it's easier than it was before because you can have counterstance up but have almost as good as normal DEF, just need to make sure you eat some decent attack food to make up for Defender being active.

BRII boss is fine w/o counterstance so its a bit silly to go /war and use defender. Might as well go /nin or /blu. it hits for nothing with CC active and coocoon.

Just stopping by to say that I hate 45 gear. Can't get usukane feet/legs to drop. At all. Just hands , hands, hands. Only thing that's keeping me back from spamming Bhaflau II for plans -_-

You don't need to. I used RDM for AR originally, but finding no reason to use it over SCH, I changed him to SCH instead. Other than Dia 3, I don't see the point in bringing RDM over SCH. Correct me if I'm wrong.

You could say the same thing about SCH, really. They're so similar it makes no real real practical difference (especially with the Embrava nerf).

I'll just leave this here. Not going to be using counterstance anymore. Usually I can get away with it but god damn that hurt.

yup def down is massive wtf ingame atm

anything that involves def down = inc mass rapeface if your fighting anything even match+

tourboillion even w/o counterstance will hit u normally and with the def down + immediate DA, you can die too O_O

Been eating Hydra Kofte for Khrysokhimaira Elder and it's been peachy. They seem to have adjusted his skillchain resistance, though.

I did -not- expect a ~2k damage turboullion, not at all... that used to do like 300(?) absolute maximum worst case scenario... it appears to be much less accurate though, so thats a bonus, I guess.

Yeah, just try Hydra Kofte or Rabbit Pie. It feels silly at first but as a bonus, Hydra Kofte lasts 6hours with Sanction!

Was the first run after the changes, I heard things like floor one mobs doing 150 damage per melee round without pro/food and had to see what it was like before I go spend 300k for rabbit pies lol... or farm datshit up...

Tomorrow should go smoother, but gotta say was actually quite shocked taking that much damage.

Cant countertank entire rooms anymore. used to actually countertank the 2 middle rooms on 1f, now 4 mobs had me constantly in red. Can only really countertank 2 mobs, maybe 3 with cure spam.

after patch i almost died in 1F because i forgot to cast prot (i usually phalanx first if sch get 2 abi from initial lamp before patch)

shit hit me for 130 still, and after prot V they hit me for 30-50,

I decided to use RDM over SCH for slow+Para and more refresh, with Pro 5, not using counterstance, and wearing PDT set HQ Khim never hit me for over 500 with anything.

RDM paraII + slowII and MNK/blu with Rabbit pie and you are safer than before update
