Co-worker said his child's school district already hired 4 more security guards since the shooting.... education budget is eviscerated from a heavy republican state government, but fuck school supplies, teacher:student ratios, lets hire 4 more security guards who will walk around unarmed in the hopes that their fists can stop a gun toting maniac in the 1:1,000,000 chance a murderer walks into one of the school district's 3 schools.

I don't think the caliber of the weapon really matters as long as the intruder is stopped. Id rather have the criminal who is entering my property ILLEGALLY stopped by a high caliber weapon than allowed to continue his illegal acts by a slow responsive police force.

1. The president isn't holding the weapon. Instead, they are fully trained personnel who are on the job and have stricter regulations on things like how their weaponry is locked up at the end of the day.

2. Sorry to say, but the president getting shot is a bigger issue than you needing to protect your home from intruders.

3. the chances of the president getting shot if he had no weaponized bodyguards is a lot higher than you getting shot by an intruder coming into your home with you having no gun.
