Shouldn't have been using gun metaphors in a war zone.
Learn what? It's a story that is less than 2 hours old, and not everyone is obsessed with the horrors of our world like we are.
I just heard not long ago. I can't even find the words right now..
They clearly didn't know about the shooting, people will obviously take it the wrong way, and it will be changed.
Is it really something that needs to be discussed?
Oh dear these child interviews are awkward
And so it begins, thanks Piers Morgan...
Spoiler: show
Reading the comments on cnn and facebook is making me really mad. What kind of retard would use this as an argument against gun control? "Outlawing guns only arms outlaws." Really? People can't ever seem to refrain from politicizing everything these days.
Edit: I don't like it much on the other side too, I think it is too soon for Piers to be making comments like that. At least wait a little while before turning this into a political discussion.
Governor's Office press conference is live now.
This is exactly why gun control should be more strict.
Say what you want, but such outrageous events are nowhere near as common in Europe because it's much harder to get access to guns here.
He's right, Britian's Dunblane elementary school handgun massacre is a solid parallel to this. However, it's not just about "standing up to the gun lobby" - we know how the Supreme Court currently rules on the 2nd amendment, it would take a constitutional amendment to ban handguns, and that's not something the President gets to just decide on.
So now we get to see the NRA lobby go up against one of the biggest scare arguments of all time.
... Did someone bring some popcorn?
