Are you going to continue to actually defend the idea of "bullet control" as a solution or are you just fucking around?

if you want a super refined bullet like you can buy? yeah, it's fucking hard. if you just wan't a slug of metal to shoot? not hard. casting metal is relatively easy, especially metals with low melting points like lead.
I'd say the powder/primer is probably the hardest part. That shit will explode in your face if you grind/mix it wrong.
it's not as absurd an idea as it sounds when you consider how taxes can be used for stuff like this
Law and Order being a peer-reviewed source of top-notch research material. Naturally.
Chris rock may be a comedian but he makes a lot of sense. Bullet control honestly seems like the next best thing as it is not protected under the constitution. Some one mentioned you could just make bullets, I'll take your word for it. The shooter in CO had bought 6000 rounds of ammunition. Anything to make that guy's life goal much more difficult. Again, who besides military or law enforcement should have access to ammunition cache of that size?
People who go to a shooting ranges? At two range trips per month those 6000 rounds would be only 250 rounds per trip. Depending on the caliber ammunition can be quite costly so purchasing in bulk is always preferable. I personally have on hand about 4000 rounds of various rounds and it'll last me until around February.
Gun talk? Okay
The black market for guns will never be as large as the black market for drugs because guns cannot interact chemically with the brain's pleasure circuits in order to induce addiction. So anyone who uses this false equivalence is a fag.
Do believe you can experience the effect known as slamfiring. Which is redneck HURR FULLAUTO mode if done on purpose until you have a round go off while it's out of battery and you end up missing a hand or worse.
So hey, what does happen?
I think people who are pro guns should focus their efforts on advising reasonable gun control legislation rather than opposing any legislation whatsoever, since i think legislation on this issue is pretty much coming. In fact, i think church's thread title implies that he understands this too.
Is it possible to put a electronic chip in guns to make it only fire in areas it is registered to be fired at? e.i. only fires in my house, and range.
Wouldn't doubt it, but that wouldn't pass through either. Too much restriction, not to mention how are they going to chip the guns that are already out? I think it's a neat concept, maybe they could make a chip or something to -not- allow firing in certain areas, like schools or daycares.
Sounds like I need to inventing some shit then.
