My finances are strait. Putting our money together was me helping her out and allowing her to buy shit without feeling bad about it. What she made at the time went to bills that were against her. Car payment, insurance, student loans,medical bills ext. I came into the relationship debt free and still am. I offered to put our money together pay all the bills with it and then we could have spending money for the both of us afterwards instead of her spending her entire paychecks on bills and having no money for herself while I had a good bit extra.

Sounds like it was your money to start, and any money you give to her would be in order to placate her. Really was a poor decision to combine accounts in the first place, but I suppose being young can cause that . My husband certainly gave me money to pay bills when times were bad, and I also was able to do so when his job stopped paying him -- but I never would combine with him until we were married. It just makes things complicated -- exactly as you are currently describing!

Sorry to be a broken record, but please sell it! go out without her, and get rid of it if that is what it takes. If she hounds you for money give her whatever to shut her out of your life so you can start recovering. It doesn't matter the guilt you feel, or your feelings for her -- she knows she has you by the emotional balls and is playing with you. Regardless of any terrible mistakes you made, that is always bullshit. She could be a perfectly reasonable person 90% of the time, but women can become total vengeful bitches in such cases :/

Marriage is a piece I paper that is hard as fuck to get rid of in situations like this. Wanted to wait until we were both out of college before we got officially married.... Or that was my reasoning, one of the bigots takes in the relationship. But lesson learned.
