How safe is eBay I'm really cautious about non physical sells

It's safe enough. The only buyers you need to be careful of are brand new to the site and have no/very little feedback. I sell stuff on the site as well as Amazon and have yet to come across any real problems. The only problems I do have are with the aforementioned new users.

Said she still wants to sell the ring but doesn't want to go today for some reason (Ultimately its my decision if/when the ring gets sold but she is the one who left so I told her I wouldn't sell it until she was ready for me to sell it). She is going with me to sell it because when I bought the ring our money was together so in a since she payed for half of it so i'm giving her 25% to help her out with finding a new place. We ended on good terms and still talk some what until she finishes getting her shit and finds a permanent place to live.

7 years is a long time, but she walked out on you, idk why you are being so forgiving about this. Especially since you said you met at 16, so you're 23 now? You're so young man, just get her out asap and get your money back from the ring, fuck her permission or not, you paid for it. If she asks just say you need to get her and anything reminding you out of your life as soon as possible so you can move on since she doesn't want to be with you anymore, you don't owe her anything more.
