You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

Uhh, so kinda egg on our faces and a fu to archi.

Since no one answered my question I looked it up. Apparently the WBC is already listed as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Anti-Defamation League.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hate_group

In the US, two main organizations that monitor intolerance and hate groups are the Anti-Defamation League (ADL)[3] and the SPLC.[4] Hate groups are also tracked by the FBI.[5] The ADL and the SPLC maintain a list of what they deem to be hate groups, supremacist groups and anti-Semitic, anti-government or extremist groups that have committed hate crimes. However, at least for the SPLC, inclusion of a group in the list "does not imply a group advocates or engages in violence or other criminal activity."[6] According to the SPLC, from 2000 to 2008, hate group activity saw a 50 percent increase in the US, with a total of 926 active groups.[7] The FBI does not publish a list of hate groups, and "[I]nvestigations are conducted only when a threat or advocacy of force is made; when the group has the apparent ability to carry out the proclaimed act; and when the act would constitute a potential violation of federal law."[8]

The Westboro Baptist Church (WBC) is an American, Independent Baptist church known for its extreme ideologies, especially those against homosexuality.[137][138] The church is widely described as a hate group[139] and is monitored as such by the Anti-Defamation League and Southern Poverty Law Center. It is headed by Fred Phelps and consists primarily of members of his large family;[140] in 2011, the church stated that it had about 40 members.[141] The church is headquartered in a residential neighborhood on the west side of Topeka about three miles west of the Kansas State Capitol. Its first public service was held on the afternoon of Sunday, November 27, 1955.[142]

The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) describes the Westboro Baptist Church as "virulently homophobic", whose anti-homosexual rhetoric they say is often a cover for anti-Semitism, anti-Americanism, racism, and anti-Catholicism.[149] The Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), an anti-discrimination group, has added the Westboro Baptist Church to its list of hate groups.
So, ya it's probably already on the FBI's list if both these organizations list it.

But really what's the point of teaching women to read if they won't do it.

OP only lists one of the two, neither of which meant dick to me until looking it up. And the one listed in the OP apparently is "easier" to get into.

w/e, if op said BG labelled the WBC as a hate group, that really doesn't mean much on the surface.

I am sure there is no petition can come close to repealing or restricting the holy First Amendment,
but I also know that reforms always come incrementally when they come.
Before that, there may be many steps and attempts needed to be taken to get close,
or simply just to repeatedly expose the issue, to gradually educate the public, and to promote civil engagement.

On this particular church, I do think they went across the line when they decide to exercise their rights at other's emotional expenses.
And their outrageous behaviors warrant the usage of all public channels for people to voice their disagreement.

    Lol, no.

Doubtful the FBI would assign many agents to a religious group who they know are trolls.

I doubt they do for a lot on their list, but then since they don't release it, we don't really know how extensive it is.

Who fucking cares, if your pussy got hurt then stop letting it get fucked.

The first amendment exists because if you can silence this group of people, label them as enemy combatants or a hate group, then I can also do it to any group of people. While I would love to label ANY religion as hate group/enemy combatants and just scourge it from the planet, that's not what this country was founded for and that protection is something I respect.

Oh no a lot of people they look at are assigned like 1/10th of an agent and it's mostly a joke. The FBI has bigger things to worry about that a troll church.

I agree, I was mostly pointing out that the petition was redundant since they probably are already on the list and we just don't know it.

As well, the bigger thing was that since they're probably already on the list, then that means this wouldn't take away their tax-exemption status (what I was hoping for).

They've never committed a crime, the only reason they would be looked at by anyone (likely the local field office) is in case one of the members decided to act on their trolling. It would have nothing to do with the church because they are trolls.
