i think the sprite seem the most off to me because their proportions are not what we're used to.

Their barrel chests, awkward posture, and stupid fists-at-hips stance are really getting to me. I'd rather have the FFIV-PSP style sprites (minus the stupid stance) if they are just going to make everyone look like dressed-up toddlers.

If you're going to go with 2D, you better get creative.

Actually, have a feeling that the artwork was based off of what they had already designed in the character sprite size dimensions for a 256x240 resolution game.

More curious about if they will add a surprise at the end of the trailer like with IV, I just have a feeling they will bring over FFIV:TAY enhanced for iOS before they do FFVI.

I wonder if they will also enhance FF1/2/Chrono Trigger soon since FF:Tactics is getting a overhaul.

The Tactics Android will have better graphics yes but not sure for the IOS one since it's already out

The iOS version will get a free update to the current existing app a bit after the android release. This version will remove the lag completely and give high resolution units, maps, menus, and a much better touch interface with 16:9 support.

That's my point, if this new one isn't on the Vita and/or is terrible, I'll just fire up the ol' Gameboy Advance.

If I had to guess its probably because making a game with Sony requires a lot more work and fees as oppose to Apple where you pretty much just buy a developer license, make a game, send it for approval then it's out there. There's also a lot more people with some sort of iOS device that a Vita and if they make a bug or some sort of mistake they can easily push out a free update in a few days. I still think V/VI will get bundled together and released on vita later.
