also, since this is cj spiller's thread, as of now, where do you folks see him being next year, fantasy wise? i think hes gonna be top 5 rb, which makes my 2 keeper spot so fucking hard with spiller/douggie/aj green
I'd love to have a keeper league or dynasty league.
So...anyone think the sack record goes down today? I think Aldon gets it due to Cardinals.
how far back are aldon+swatt?
They don't have a prop bet for Aldon Smith 'cause Cardinals. lolWEEK 17 SPECIALS - Will J.J. Watt break the NFL Single Season Sack record of 22.5?
Yes +200
No -300
@Cail I think they're both at 19 or so and have to get 22 1/2 to beat the record.
if 19, then no. 4 is a lot of sacks to get in 1 game
Watt needs 2 to tie, 2.5 to take the record. Smith needs 3 to tie, 3.5 to break. Watt had 3 sacks in their first matchup against the Colts this year. Smith had 2 sacks vs. the Cardinals.
holy shit aldon smith had 5.5 sacks against the Bears? fuck
watts got an ok chance, i dont think it gets broken though
Watt is just amazing though. He's only had 3 games this season without a sack, and only 3 games this season without a stuff. He only got blanked (0 sacks, 0 stuffs, 0 passes defensed) one game this season.
Didn't know Watt was at 20...hope they both get it.
btw, 28 years since ED set the record...AP needs 208 yards to break record...wears #28. hmmm
(I feel like I should have the ancient aliens guy pic here)
A quick note on Aaron Rodgers before we get started today.
For every interception Aaron Rodgers throws, he throws more than 3.6 touchdowns.
Tom Brady is second all-time for TD/INT ratio. For every interception Tom Brady throws, he throws just over 2.6 touchdowns.
Aaron Rodgers throws 35% more touchdowns per interception than the 2nd best player of all time by that metric.
You many now return to your pregame warmups.
I hope it doesn't get broken bc ware has to break it. Also anyone who plays the bears is cheating.
I hope AD shatters the record.
awfully quiet on here 10mins before kickoff
i kinda wanna be a douche and wildcard it up and drop my team, but then i wont be allowed back in the sandbox next year
Do I want to watch Eagles/Giants or Texans/Colts early?
coaches gone (soon)
JetsjagsAccording to sources, the Jets do not plan to bring back offensive coordinator Tony Sparano (the Jets are ranked 30th in total offense in Sparano's first season in the role) and Johnson has been putting out feelers for ideas to determine the ideal structure of his front office.
Some league sources believe coach Rex Ryan, who will return, would be best served working again with general manager Mike Tannenbaum, which they believe would provide Johnson the type of stability he respects in other organizations led by such owners as the Maras and Rooneys.
Meanwhile, defensive coordinator Mike Pettine's contract is up and longtime special teams coach Mike Westhoff is retiring. The Jacksonville Jaguars will fire general manager Gene Smith, but the fate of coach Mike Mularkey could turn out to be in the hands of Cardinals director of player personnel Jason Licht or 49ers director of player personnel Tom Gamble who are the primary candidates for the team's general manager's job, according to sources.
