Dudes car in that video totally has a sticker called gamer gate and I can only think of a BG member now haha
Why in the fuck did that youtube video say "#GamerGate shooter"?
The insinuation is that there is a zionist conspiracy to be terribly misinformed on 4chans involvement in the shooting to spur activity to get it shut down. JIDF has been trying unsuccessfully for awhile, so they are turning to different tactics. CNN's (and it isn't just that broadcast) choice of words is also probably a taunt to 4chan to stir some sort of repercussion which will inevitably be able to be used against 4chan.
Hence, oy vey.
Ironically, they had a shooting in front of a Australian police station yesterday that ended with a corpse at the front door of a daycare center and a dead civilian who worked for the police department.
Working as intended, the shooter was a 15-year old Iraqi immigrant shouting religious slogans.
Wasn't that one also posted on 4chan? I thought I saw a link to that earlier on reddit, but maybe I'm wrong.

How the fuck can Wyoming be that high on the list, there's only 500,000 people in the entire goddamn state.
I like Washington and New Hampshire in there, super relaxed gun laws and screwing up that chart.
With Alaska at the top of that list, a state which is almost entirely rural rednecks, I am assuming this additional data set is playing highly into that graph as a whole: "Gun death figures include...and legal intervention involving firearms."
We arrested Joe Dirt, he had a rifle, and he's on that graph.
plz ban guns
I would be interested in seeing gun-related suicides separated out of this chart. I once read in a sociology text many years ago that western/rural states tend to have much higher suicide rates (this may include non-gun related suicides), so that could inflate the numbers of some states, particularly Alaska. Would also be interested in seeing potential effects from nearby states (e.g. can a state with tough gun control laws but with neighboring states that have loose laws see higher than expected numbers due to trafficking across state lines)? Also would be interested in seeing correlations with population density and general crime rates.
Correction on Oregon. We passed UBC and it has always required an FFL transfer through online sales (unless mailing intrastate but UBC closed that). I would also rate getting a CCW fairly easily as Oregon is a Shall-Issue state basically meaning if you can pass a 4473, be 21+, pay ~$50 for a firearm safety class, and $55 in licensing fees you'll get one.
And when you set aside gun-related suicides the numbers get very small indeed. Something around 24000 gun deaths out of 32000 are from suicide, with 2500 justified self-defense, several hundred from LEO, and a handful of accidental deaths.
Legal self-defense and justified shoots from LEO makes up this segment."legal intervention involving firearms"
You can omit, include or use any statistics you want when it comes to skewing graphs in favour of what ever your trying to push
Like I quickly knocked out a graph using the statistics that panda posted from wikipedia with gunownership/gunhomiciderate (with DC omitted since its an extreme outlier)
You probably won't see a graph like this on vox, motherjones or w/e
I'm happy where NJ is on that graph, and most of East coast/new England states seem to be up top. I've always said NJ laws should become federal.
you only have to drive out to the woods if your shooting yourself
Good point.
If I lived in Wyoming I'd probably do the same.
