Like above, seems like a deal to me, but honestly I want to know why you want a machine gun in the first place.
So the BBC has an article up where the Oregon mother claims her son was the mastermind of all of the guns, but a new article up on CNN examines online posts made by her about her extensive knowledge on guns.
Both the mother and son have aspergers if that matters.
Trevor Noah had a great segment on how all the "pro-life" people should be jumping on the gun regulation stuff.

Only legal options for FA are firearms that were registered and tax-stamped before 1986. I don't particularly wish to pay 15-20k for a 30+ year old M-16 lower and there are firearm models that can't be owned at all like a FAMAS since they don't exist in SA.
And if you want to know why I want one then I recommend attending a Knob Creek shooting event. And because fuck you, that's why.
Had to look up that amendment, and came across one of those petitions lol. The guy seemed to be confused about the difference between gun classifications and also cited something from the 1930's to make a point about safety. As others already said, not really sure why you'd want one, but I would take that deal no problem.
Who cares what he wants it for, if he's using it responsibly than what does it matter?
I'd love to own as many weapons as ghost if only because firearms are a blast to use (no pun intended).
I could be potentially ok with that. Is there a check when going over a certain cartridge amount or caliber? If there was a UBC on all amounts and chambering would there be the $30 charge to process the BCG? Need more detail on this.
And here I thought that making any criminal act involving a gun be elevated to a felony would be a better carrot. I mean, even the most minor of fuckups would ban that person from ever owning or possessing a firearm. It's about the closest you'll ever get to confiscation and limitation.
Sorry if that sounded overly blunt so I'll reword it a bit better. ALL LAWFUL PURPOSES.
Fun video
All I know is that the music is "The Mighty Rio Grande" by This Will Destroy You so my night has been pretty much made
Spoiler: show
With a simple CNC machine I can make the proper pieces to make a FA trigger assembly in under an hour.
Spoiler: show
With a few pieces of small thin steel, drill, rasp, and household materials I can make a lightning link that can let you shoot FA on a SA AR15.
The differences are very very minor yet the price difference is tens of thousands of dollars. And while I am hopeful about Hollis vs Holder/Lynch I very much doubt a solid decision will be made for another decade.
Small disclaimer. The store isn't real, the customers were not real, Ned Luke is the store owner, Ned Luke was also the VA for Micheal in GTA5, and almost all the firearms shown were airshit and not actually real. Especially in NYC where they probably would've been crucified for possession of illegal assault weapons, media campaign or not.

First off, you would have to hold everyone (including private sellers) to BGCs. Online continue to pass through an FFL and BGC with fee.
I don't see why there can't be an all encompassing bill that covers all ammunition of guns that can be legally owned, regardless of caliber. Obvious ban/restriction on hollow-point bullets. Cartridge amount carries a much larger, more debatable topic that proves to be a slippery slope no matter how you slice it. The BGC would also be separate as well between guns and ammunition. However, it would either be a cheaper charge (like 15$), but only with the restriction that you can only purchase ammunition of a certain type X number of times in a year.
Escalating to felony isn't as big a carrot anymore, now that most people who commit the most major of crimes ([attempted] murder) usually end up suicide by cop or commit suicide by their own hand. It definitely would combat the shit out of gang violence however.

Based on your next post down from my reply, I'm guessing the big battle in 5-15 years will be that against 3D printing of guns and receivers.
Why the ban and/or restriction of JHP?
Anything more than $3-5 and I would just 100% handload because I don't consider instantly doubling the price of 20-50 count boxes of common caliber worth it. Would there be exemptions of BGC or purchase limitations for competitive shooters? What level of documentation would be kept? Same as existing background checks?
Don't forget that carrot also carries benefits to the liberal side. Gun owners (who tend to lean conservative) who fuck up would also lose their voting rights. It could nearly cripple one of the largest platforms Republicans stand on.
Don't forget that gang violence is one of the largest contributing factors to gun death statistics and this could make a huge change. But they use pistols and revolvers. Why such the hateboner for banning scary black assault rifles when they account for a very small fraction of gun violence? And if we want to count automatics there have been a grand total of four cases of convicted criminal murder with a FA since the NFA law was passed. In 1934.
