Was an interesting episode, and I think that TV that brings attention to issues like this is great, but the problem of non-access to frozen embryos that sit around in storage or get destroyed has been around for more than a decade. The anti-abortion lobby has always treated the use/repurposing of frozen stock as the equivalent to abortion because they are destroyed, even though they would be destroyed anyway or just degrade in cold storage.

In 1997 he got in a physical fight with his wife at the time, Pamela Ross. Fought her, locked her out of the house, when she tried to climb back in through a window, he hit her again then pushed her out of the window. She went to her family physician the next day to document her injuries, but refrained from pressing charges.
In 2001 he peeped on his new neighbor's wife often. In 2002 he was given a restraining order because he wouldn't stop.
In 2003 he had an animal cruelty charge brought against him (dropped in 2004) for shooting a neighbor's dog with his pellet gun for being on his driveway.
In 2004 he threatened the same neighbor with "bodily harm" because Dear thought the guy pushed over his motorcycle.

He is known for both having and flying the American & Confederate flags.
He has no known religious or political leanings and identifies himself as a "unaffiliated" voter.
He was an independent art dealer while living in SC.
He also has a son. (Haven't found anything on him)
Claims he worked for the government and feels that everyone is out to get him. Also claims to have secret information of the USA and he could bring it down with said info.
Beyond "baby parts" as his reasoning, he also made statements about Barack Obama.

Yea. The Confederate flag is totally on the same level as state flags.

Texas isn't a symbol of sovereignty anymore than other state flags are.
