I'm enjoying how after it comes out that an AR-15 wasn't used in Orlando, every article still feels the need to describe his weapon as "AR-15 like"

I'm on the side of more gun control, and even I found that article hard to read starting at the line where he said it felt like a bazooka every time he pulled the trigger.

The recoil bruised my shoulder. The brass shell casings disoriented me as they flew past my face. The smell of sulfur and destruction made me sick. The explosions — loud like a bomb — gave me a temporary case of PTSD. For at least an hour after firing the gun just a few times, I was anxious and irritable.

Seriously, get the fuck out with that sentence. I was firing at the Manchester range in NH next to a guy with a carbine and, despite being loud, wasn't emotionally crippling. Also, the pic that is right in the article looks like the brass would be exiting the right side of the gun. Full auto mode? Ghost covered that one already.
