The great equalizer.
Also prolly the best home invasion caught on tape.
Spoiler: show
4 killed at a mall a little over an hour north of Seattle, they're still looking for the gunman. A little to close to home for my taste.

5 dead now, 4 female & 1 male. Shooter is hispanic, aged 20-30. He entered the mall without a weapon, but had a rifle when he entered Macy's (10 minute period between the two).

Without knowing what stores are there, I guess it's possible. But I also wouldn't rule it being left behind earlier, either by him or an accomplice. If that's the case, you can bet they'll be looking for anyone who had backpacks/bags in security footage to see if they were left anywhere or possibly appeared lighter as if the gun parts were stowed away.
Smart enough to disassemble a gun to smuggle into a public place by multiple people to be reassembled for a killing spree...not smart enough to include a ski mask or a cap or something that would conceal the shooters face from the cameras.
Hispanic?

I mean if there was a dick's sporting goods or something.
There's one in the jefferson mall near me and they sell ammunition and hunting rifles. (This is in VA though)
Possibly stashed somewhere inside ahead of time, Godfather style.
