Also, people that honestly believe anyone is sitting around hoping for better gun control and going YAY HERE'S OUR CHANCE when yet another mass shooting happens should seriously consider killing themselves. It's just what's best for the world.

Doesn't really help the case when they use things that were stupid to ban to try to reinforce a weapons ban.
Also, who the fuck sends their kid to school with a rifle?
'Muricans.
I'm actually kind of pissed 2/3 of those pics had poor trigger discipline, but what can you expect from faggots who don't have any knowledge of guns and consider them dangerous. Of course they are, your finger is on the fucking trigger.
Never finger on trigger unless you are ready to shoot bro. That's like, rifle 101.
They're children that shouldn't be holding guns to begin with, and you expect them to be responsible with them? lawl.
Yeah. Giving kids an M4 and not teaching them how to hold the rifle (or any safety rules) is blatantly disrespectful to the danger holding one possesses.
Personally I don't think children should hold anything that could be considered a weapon by modern standards, ironically enough I believe children are getting stupider (largely based on parents and education, or lack thereof). Still, we allow our children to utilize baseball bats every day to play with, why is that do you think? Can you not bash someones head in with a baseball bat? But because we use said item for recreational purposes its okay for children to do so as well?
I'm partially playing devils advocate here, but I've always been against the general public's viewpoint that X activity is deemed dangerous to society because they are less educated on said thing, or hell, misinformed. The issue with gun violence is a cultural/societal issue, not one of the actual item itself. Once society comes to realize that fact (say in a couple hundred years) we can move on from this topic to more important matters.
Guns don't kill people, stupid/ill people kill people. Address the stupid/ill, and you're left with just people. But alas, this ultimatum costs way more to accomplish than say banning them; See Dodgeball, Kinder Chocolate Eggs.
I think I was in 6th or 7th grade when I first shot a rifle and it was in Boy Scouts or something. It was a cool experience.
I was around the same age when I learned how to shoot.
The day your child is born, I am calling CPS, Brill.
The Senate has voted against extended background checks:

What exactly is wrong with putting your finger on the trigger of an unloaded gun? That is, if they're even real guns. Though i suppose they probably are, since it'd probably be easier to get real ones than high quality fake guns...
You always treat a gun like it's loaded, even if it's not. It reinforces proper discipline. Hell our last academy had two non affiliate recruits booted due to no common sense in range safety. Loaded or unloaded, your finger is only on that trigger if you intend to shoot. I've only shot once (but handled several guns as a kid since both my parents were police and taught me proper handling) and even I know that.
and yet half the people on this board think pointing a gun at someone to intimidate them when you have absolutely no intention of using it is just dandy, and that "don't point a gun at someone if you don't intend to use it" is just some kind of fake badassery
I'm not entirely sure guns are a more expensive hobby than legos these days.
